Review [1st Impressions] R4i Gold Plus Deluxe Edition

Hi guys!
Today, i received my R4i Gold Plus Deluxe Edition FLashCart!
So I wanted to give you my 1st impressions about it so far.

Although it's day 1 for me,
i gotta say,
this FlashCart simply Rocks!!
I don't regret my purchase one bit!

Is there better cards out there? maybe... maybe not.... i don't know...
is it a clone? again, i don't even know honestly...

All i can say is this Deluxe Kit works as advertised and,
for a father of 2 like me,
who's not tech-savvy at all
and who simply wants something that works out of the box,
without requiring too much fiddling,
this is the one!!

So far its been ultra stable!
plays all games I've thrown at it!

Can't believe how fast games are loading!
i stock them on an 8GB ADATA CLASS@6 microSDHC card!
It loads lightning fast!

I can't stress enough how easy it was to setup!
its insane, and the Firmware Burner Tool is awesome!!

oh and, it even came with a MicroSDHC card reader!
i wasn't expecting that!
Maybe it was a hidden gift
nice touch though!

And about build quality well,
it's not like I've played with many DS FlashCarts so,
I can't really comment on this subject...

However, overall, quality seems ok to me since
stuff didn't fall into pieces when i took'em out of the box!

Yepp, what can i say besides ==> THIS IS THE ONE FOR ME!!!

Like i said, im not hyper tech-savvy,
so having this Deluxe edition is really a blessing!

Gotta love stuff that just works
without having to fight with it!

I'm still baffled at how easy it was to setup!!
its totally unReaL!

But its ReaL!!

R4i-gold by r4ids.cn is better (its a clone like yours [yes your is also a clone] but it supports wood.)
the only thing thats not better is the frimware writer that good.

about WOOD R4, its mainly a skin that lets you do more tweaking
with regards to how your FlashCart looks like in the menus and stuff?

or there's something else to it that i should know?

No, Wood is the firmware, it's what's responsible for loading games.

Most R4s have shit support and don't play recentr games or even work on later DS models, but some carts have official Wood support and updates which means they do play recent games and work on recent systems.
