This is the first time ive used arguements but i noticed in the arguement it says
"sd:/apps/wiisxrx2022game/iso</arg> <!-- path where the rom is stored"
Couldnt i change "wiisxrx2022game" to just "sd:/wiisxrx/isos" so it will see the isos in the wiisxrx folder instead of replacing it with a new one in the apps folder?

Yes you can. The arguments shown are just for example.

hello. new list of games I have tried on wiisxrx2022.
the wiki moderator has already answered me so from now on I think I'll be able to upload my lists there. The problem is that I use another bios that is not recommended and that can cause problems. Remember that I use the psp bios for testers and that I only use the configuration in dynarec, launch by bios, and set the automatic limit and without frame skip. a greeting

It has been already said that it was added to the pile of future features and could be worked once the ones already on the table are finished.

Many games work with Popstarter well as long as you use the most updated one, or a specific version for certain games, pretty much all I wanted to try worked fine on a USB. Of course some games like Jumping Flash or Raystorm might have frame drops (those being 60 FPS games and I guess harder to play) but to me it's been pretty reliable.

Someone has even been making some code patches for games to work with Popstarter on ElOtroLado forums.

Trying out this emulator with a collection of PS1 games that work to my satisfaction on WiiiSXRX 2.5.

Diablo - Background music loses its timing. Starts out ok, but then the different track lose step between each other.

Primal Rage - Lots of weird stage graphic artifacts that I didn't have in WiiSXRX 2.5. Pretty ugly actually enough to be unplayable. No background music either, but streaming audio isn't supported in these emulators (yet?)

They do not work:

THRILL KILL

Thrill Kill *does* work on this emu and on base WiiSXRX, but there is a trick to it.

The game was set up to have a warning screen where you have to hit square and X(Y & B on the Wii classics controller) simultaneously to proceed. Unfortunately this shows itself as a blank black screen which leads you to think the game doesn't work. I think this was intended as some kind of childproofing and the emulators just aren't showing this screen correctly. I had the bootleg back in the day and I remember it asking you to proceed but not the black screen. So it's probably an emulator thing.

Also there are quite a few versions of this floating around. You need to find the one that has all the character endings. Also I don't think it ever had background music since Paradox supposedly leaked it and didn't want to infringe on the music creator's property rights. Although in my research I also read that someone might have added music back to it. So is it there or isn't it there? Not sure.

I have two different versions. One has 14 tracks according to WiiSXRX, loads a proper FMV game intro title screen, "other" in options has 4 options. The other has 13 tracks according to WiiSXRX, loads what I've read is Oddball's ending but no official intro, and "other" in options has 3 options. I'm assuming the 14 track version has all the endings, but I'm going to have to play to find out.

hello. thanks friend. yes, it seems strange to me that the game didn't work because I've played thrill kill in old versions of the ps1 emulator on wii... it's been a long time since I've played it and I don't remember that detail... and the thing is that I heard something in the game with a black screen... but it looks like I didn't press those two buttons and the game didn't start. I left it for a long time to see if it started but logically, as you comment, it didn't. Thank you very much for the information. As for the music, the game has to have music since it occupies many megabytes (the two that I have tried, one totally uncensored and the normal version have a large size). I don't know if wiisxrx2022 doesn't read the audio tracks but in the previous versions of the emulators I remember that the music was not heard. Let's see if they solve it and you can already hear them, I'm curious to hear them if you really can because of copyright problems that you mentioned. greetings and thanks again for your message

bruh... you need to think to players and fans that we own a Wii (RVL) we cannot have access to these hotkeys because we use Wii Classic Controller, Nunchuk, and GCN Controller...

Yes thanks indeed. Just if implemented, quick save/load hotkeys could be mapped to some unused buttons like L2/R2.
unused buttons? you do realize the ps1 controller originaly has l2 and r2 right? and they are used in most games too be it to rotate cameras, fire, use items and such.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze

same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in

    Maybe.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.

Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
