Recently I bought an EZ Flash Omega, I've been playing some Gameboy games, particularly pokemon, but whenever I save, the data's lost the next time I launch it. This happened first with pokemon red, I switched to a different rom and the problem went away, saving as normal until at some point I lost everything again. Now this problem keeps happening and I'm not sure how to stop it. This isn't limited to pokemon either, I've played Tetris as well and it won't save any high scores. I've also gone through the files and the data is saved, the files aren't deleted. I supposed they're just overwritten or something because every time I load a game the "writing..." text shows up on the bottom every time. I'm not sure what to do so if anyone can help out thanks in advance.

Ok, thanks, that's seemed to have worked, though with Tetris it won't save the scores but that's fine. Thanks.
I never understood what they meant by holding L + R and I was exiting when testing it out, so it's nice to know how to do it.

Just a quick question regarding the save button. Are we able to save the game by just press "save" in the Pokemon start button or we have to always save the game in L+R+Start -> SAVE in order to save the game?

If we are able to save the game directly in the game itself, where is the saved data file will goes to in SD card?

Press L+R in the emulator just for a SRAM write action. The hardware on the card will notice the action and save the data to SD card.
