you shuold be able to lookup instructions online for the moves or ps3 official controllers, maybe even sonys site, but they all came with instructions/warnings that if u didnt charge those access once a year to fully charge they might stop working, also if u move is working, charge it fully for 24, if iits stops blinking it should mean its fully charged

But it was charging for hours. Anyway, how is that possible since this controller was new and it was still working? Does that go for the Sixaxis, DualShock 4 and DualSense, not to mention the DualShock 3 and the PS Move Motion and PS Move Navigation controllers?

yah i may only need a few hours to fully charge, but sonys propertariate on purpose tech was designed that way to push more sony only compat products, hince why the just restickering (same model number with just e changed from c) for the ps4 moves, the 24hr once a yr warning is cause of that battery/memory retention, it may charge quickly but is designed to always lose battery memory charging, old tech ripoffs thats been around for decades, as far as i know all ps3 related prducts, vitas?, and ps4 moves, and ps4 aim controller, ps4 official wireless headsets r like that, dont about ps5 or ps4 controllers, doubtful it had changed since its less profitable

After all, I only had to charge it for some minutes until it was fully charged.

EDIT: I have a new laptop and there's a manufacturer tool who has a setting that makes the laptop only charge until 80% or 60% if the battery is below 50% so that way it won't fully discharge and charge and the battery won't be damaged (I guess).
