Quick question, I've never burned a Japanese game, do I just burn the .iso to a DVD or do I have to patch it with anything or BrickBlock it or something?

I burned bleach for the wii(japanese version) a while ago, and did nothing different to my iso or wiii, other than turning on region free on my chip.(Wiikey)

I see pro and contra for torrents and direct downloads (RS) is:

Torrent

+ very fast upload
- its not safe for the user (filesharing is dangerous)
- it can be very slow if many leechers are connected

Rapidshare with Premium Account

+ very fast download (maximum speed)
+ its very safe for the user
- upload takes a lot of time
- Premium Account costs some money (not much)

FTP would be a good idea too if we get the login data
FTP would be the most unsecure of all options.

the most secure are newsgroups and then rapidshare with free user in combination with cryptload (www.cryptload.info), wich automatically renews your ip to pass the free-user limit!

so if someone can expalin, someone here has a jap copy of ssbx and is trying to rip it using a dual layer burner hoping it works based on what evidence?

to rip standard wii games you need a specific LG drive (s) which takes about 45 minutes or 2 hours, I forget which.

so this person with a copy has a dl burner that is confirmed to be able to to rip ssbx as it's possibily a dual layer game?

No accusations or finger pointing i'm just wondering where all this is coming from. Unless the ripping is simply an experiment and people just wanna see if it works.

Ok dude im ripping the game, id post pics but the disc is kinda busy atm XD so ull hafta wait til its done.

17 hours 18 mins remaining.

Wii fit does not work on PAL. That scares me because it´s the nearest of the Nintendo games that is already released. Also Donkey Kong is a 1st party title, right?

Chances that we can play the game without any updates (in other words: update is necessary to play)?

I dont wanna double channels on my Wii.

I dont wanna double channels on my Wii.

Previously, the only way to play an NTSC-J game on NTSC-U with an update was to turn off the wii half way through the update. This way, the wii updates but does not get the duplicate channels.

We have no confirmation if this works with SSBB, but speculation says no because the update requires critical changes to WII's optical drive, making it mandatory.

SSBB is the first game which specifically states the user must turn off and on his WII after the update, obviously requiring some firmware changes to take place.

Can I avoid the extra channels by filling up my Wii with games and save data? Will the US update remove the extra Weather and News channels?
