I recently asked about my shoulder buttons on my DSi....After sometime I finally realized that my "L" button is like its always being held down....I can see thats its not so what can I do to resolve this problem.

EDIT
I've tried it without the spring or button...and it still does the same thing

Solution
u say u have tried it without the spring..... so the only other possible explanation is that there could be some dirt trapped in the microswitch that the button activates when pressed.
this is easy enough to deal with, just take the back off ur DS n either blow or wipe the switch with a DRY cotton bud n have a close look for any dust or fluff that could be lodged in there.
Hope this helps u out :-)

The shoulder buttons (L and R) have springs underneath attached to them (well, not really attached, the buttons have a piece of plastic that goes into the center of the springs). It could be that there's a problem with your L button's spring. Try opening your DSi and checking it out (it's not much work).
