How bizarre. I'm going to have to go down the Save State route.:wtf:

This isn't my first rodeo with Lode Runner. I remember having to Hex edit the MSX ROM to switch the A and B buttons in BlueMSX-Wii.

@Tetsuo Shima

I've uploaded LedHead for WFL. If you want to include it in your next release, feel free to change Magic# to your liking. I have personally played this so much, i thought i would share it if others want to play some old 1970's handhelds.
Armor Attack, Auto Race, Baseball, Basketball, Basketball 2, Football, Football Ii, Hockey, Hockey Canadian, Ski Slalom, Soccer, Soccer 2, Space Alert, Missile Attack, Sub Chase.

It is working very well as a plugin.

Thanks @RunningSnakes.

To whom may be interested, I've modded the LedHead plugin uploaded by RunningSnakes, in order to make it more Wiiflow-like. The modded plugin displays the LedHead games collection in coverflow-view mode, with ability to load each game individually as any other standard Wiiflow plugin:

ledhead-coverflow-jpg.273199

Please find attached:
- The Wiiflow package of the modded plugin
- The source code of the modded LEDhead program ; only MAIN.C and MAKEFILE files were changed, comparing the original source code by Nebiun (see https://github.com/nebiun/ledHeadWii)

The covers collection is available there => https://gbatemp.net/threads/cover-c...th-cover-support.324714/page-103#post-9555095.
The games database is available there => https://gbatemp.net/threads/wiiflow-lite-with-emulators-database.527613/page-4#post-9555100.

@Tetsuo Shima : feel free to change that plugin, and add it to your Wiiflow plugins pack.

Hi @Tetsuo Shima ,

great work. May I ask you some questions?

I noticed that the wiiflow/plugins/RA-HEXAECO plugin already contains files in the savefiles, savestates and screenshots subfolders that are not mine. Is this intentional? Can I delete them without negative effects on the plugin?

Quite a few PS1 games come with multiple discs. I unpack them all into one folder per game. How do I name these and the corresponding covers so that only the first or only one disc per game is displayed in the cover flow of the PS1 plugin?

I'm sorry, it was not intentional. I forgot to delete them. You can delete them without issues.
With multi-disc games, you can use the Hide function on all the discs except the 1st one. Select the disc you want to hide with A, then ciick on the Category icon and put a checkmark on the last one (Hidden).
Then return to the PS1 coveflow, click on the category icon and go to Hidden.
Click in the box until a red cross appears. This will tell Wiiflow to hide all the games set to Hidden.

Not64 has been updated! https://github.com/extremscorner/not64/releases
I was able to rename the boot.dol to not64.dol and drop it into the existing plugin pack without issue.

I always get excited when a new Not64 update comes out… still getting slightly better. :)

Can I ask you a potentially dumb question? The release of Not64 contains both a boot.dol and a not64.dol, which are two different file sizes. What is the purpose of the not64.dol, why the two different dols?

They're the Wii and GameCube builds respectively.
I totally blew that at first. Incidentally, the Gamecube version did launch as a Wiiflow plugin on Wii but it looked different and failed to load the game I tried.

You want to rename the the apps/boot.dol as not64.dol for use in the plugin pack.

Hiding games works in general, but not for games with multiple discs. If I set the category on one disc, it is automatically set on all others of the same game. If I hide the category afterwards, all discs of the game are hidden.

True, this is happening when you use plugins database titles. You can try to set this option to 'no' in settings page 12, then rename your disk files adding their disc number (except for the 1st one which shall be named with the exact game title). After that, reload cache and you should have all multidiscs games showing only the 1st disc.
edit: I did it with my Amiga coverflow and it works. The only issue is that now my arcade game titles are a mess, arcade roms can't be renamed.

The disadvantage of this approach is that the advantage of the plugin database cannot be used. You have described an annoying case yourself.

I then thought of another solution and thought why not name the files game.d1.bin and game.d2.bin etc. and set the pattern for files to .d1.bin in the plugin settings. But apparently the software can't handle a file extension that contains two dots. While it would be so easy to check "filename ends with given pattern?". Do you think I should file a feature request against wiiflow?

@ukigh4ie @Tetsuo Shima my memory's a bit rusty. so hiding dis2, disc3, etc... doesn't work? I'm wondering if when you have multi disc games if the database is causing them all to have the same database ID, and if i wrote categories code to use the database ID that would explain why if you hide one you are hiding them all.

That's what I think as well. If I use database titles with multidiscs and I don't hide them, all the discs will show with the same title and database info (so you don't know which one is the 1st, the 2nd etc.)

@fledge68 In order for the solution I tried via the file pattern to work, the GetFiles() function for regular files should not search for the last dot in the file name and check the following part against FileTypes, but instead use string::find_last_of for the comparison. I will file an issue at GH.
