...WELL... Once upon a time I opened my PS2 aaaand....

yeaaahh.... the power button broke :)

I re-opened the PS2... and the INNER power button broke which is required for booting the PS2.

Me and the screwdriver... aren't good friends

But anyway, you may not know, but I also have a 3DS. My main goal is to add CFW to it. (The 2DS was the previous 3DS I had, I moved to the 3DS)

You might be saying: Why did you make this thread then?

Welp... I NTRflashed my ActionReplay, installed the B9S files on my SD card... and whenever I hold the button combination with the magnet on the 3DS, this happens:
3DS light turns on after 1 second
...then the screen turns on (I'm still holding the buttons at that point)
and after a couple of seconds, the 3DS just goes into sleep mode.

And yes, the card IS flashed because whenever I fail booting NTRboot and go back to the home screen, the action replay icon isn't there!

You should probably give up with these topics, you made like 4-5 of similar topic related to broken 2ds/3ds console, if you can't fix , buy a new unit. Writing off topic doesn't help too.

Sorry to necro this (especially given how spammy OP was about threads with this and that problem) but I have the same issue. I fixed up a broken 2DS this weekend, and after playing a bit to test all the pieces and parts, left it sitting on a table overnight. Since then, somehow, the volume slider on the logic board has come loose from the plastic piece which you use on the outside to move it, and like the OP, mine is just stuck now in max volume.

Obviously, the fix is to open it up, re-align the switch, and close it again. That's a 5 minute repair, with 4 minutes of that made up of me grumbling about the back needing 10 screws to be opened. What I'm wondering is, why did it come loose in the first place, and how can I prevent it from happening again?

Maybe it wasn't aligned properly in the first place so there was enough wiggle room for it to come loose. It should not be possible if it's properly aligned.

Yeah, I know I spammed a ton back in the day.
I cringe a lot when I see my previous posts.

Too bad I can't delete every post that includes rambling about my 3ds/2ds.

Also, yes, I also thought that they were misaligned but, oof, screws do not want to come out.
Seem familiar?
Well, it's because I also have stripped screws in my 3ds.

How did I come this far, no one knows.
But thanks for the help.
