1. will the 0.19. git pull work on 0.18.1? there is no specific 0.18 version in the link. 0.16 is the latest before 0.19 in the link.

2. i am too stupid to follow the other instruction in the main page. is the one in the sys-tweak link complete already to be copy and pasted to my sdcard?

I haven't personally tried this build on 0.18.1, I'm not sure.

Don't call yourself stupid for not knowing something.
There's a little more setup that you need to do but it's pretty straightforward;

You need to rename the sys-tweak.nsp to exefs.nsp and set up a toolbox.json with the following contents:

Once you've done that create this folder and contents on your SD card:

Yes notepad should be fine.
boot2.flag is an empty file btw, no text needs to be in it.
It just needs to be in that location.

Crashes my switch running on atmosphere 0.18.1, emunand 11.0.0.

I USED THE LATEST SYS-TWEAK in the github page.

I used the NSAM build here for 0.18.1 if you want to try that instead. I also have a NSRO build there if NSAM gives you trouble.

Glad it's working, good to know that the newer version doesn't seem to works on previous versions.

I've got a repo with icons if you want more, plus HotShotz79 has made a tool to upload multiple icons

I don't know why Big N still has no love left for the home menu, no folders, no themes, no different styles, 3DS atleast allowed for small or big icons...

Yeah I'm unsure why too, it would be nice if they just added these types of features, then again they only have 2 themes white & dark.

At least the homebrew community has people covered, plenty of talented individuals out there for sure

Creating custom icons

Once sys-tweak is set, reload your CFW. Now you can customize your game icons by copy a 256x256 jpg image no bigger than 128K or you will get a queston mark instead.
The icon only accept jpg format not interlaced, copy it to your title folder ID, for example Resident Evil 4:

Editing game names

You also can change the title name, author and version, just place a config.ini file in the same folder as your icon.jpg, the file structure is:

[override_nacp] name=my custom title name game author=someone display_version=X.X.X

Note: If no config.ini is present it defaults to original title.
