ROM Hack SD card has been removed error

I decided to upgrade my 8GB SD card for a 32GB, when I put it in my 3ds every bottom screen icon of the apps that I downloaded appeared but not the top screen icons. When I opened them the SD card has been removed error came out. Any idea why this might happen?

check if the sd card is real with h2testw. shouldn't take too long with an sd card that small.

Your new SD card could be faulty. Make sure to check it for errors: https://3ds.hacks.guide/h2testw-(windows) (the guide also includes links for other operating systems)
