Monster Hunter Stories 2 confirmed for launch on PC and Switch this summer, Rise gets second demo

Capcom's Monster Hunter digital event brought us all some brand new reveals. First off, Monster Hunter: Rise will have a second demo playtest event, bringing with it a new advanced quest that features the dangerous Magnamalo. Starting March 11th, you'll be able to download it off the Nintendo eShop. As for the spinoff of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, Capcom has confirmed that it won't be exclusive to the Switch--it'll also be available on Steam/PC. Both versions of the game will be launching on July 9th, alongside three new amiibo: Ena, Razewing Ratha, and Tsukino.

why is everything look like a zelda game
Did you play Stories? It is obviously geared towards a younger audience than the classic Monster Hunter games. That's why they made it more "colorful" i guess.

I don't like the classic MH games but i liked Stories. If Stories 2 is good i will definitely give it a shot.

Why not port Stories 1 too? It always seems weird when some companies will port the second or third game in a series, but exclude the first game.

hmm... this is not a port, this is a brand new release, the game isnt out on anything so it was made for switch/pc.

the reason they dont port the first games is because some games use totaly diferent engines since they are for diferent hardware and it still costs money and staff to port older games and like i said this is a brand new release and not a port lol.

I like classic MH Games because of reality dragons and perfect towards adults players. I am big fan of mytholgy dragons. The Stories and Stories 2 are not for me because those are too cuties dragons and perfect for kids. Not me. I like monsters and scary looking.

I guess I should try the first one on 3DS then. Seems like there's only a few games left for me to play before putting my console definitely in the drawer ... It's always cool to see new releases on PC tho. I don't mind games not being exclusive to Switch, tho for Rise, performance on PC is sooo comfortable and pretty, I guess I'll wait then but I hope it'll do well and make Capcom understand that Monster Hunter belongs on Nintendo consoles and not Sony's
