Hacking Question Is there a way to unban your switch?

I was hit by Nintendo's ban wave. Now I'm banned from splatoon 2. Not only that, I accidentally updated my Nintendo Switch. I've gotten the new temporary CFW for it. But, I can't access homebrew until it's update for now.

But, I just wanted to know if there would be a way to unban your switch.

The console-unique info is burned into the chips now.
Without redirection patches (which might not even be in cfw), you won't be able to unban.

What did you do in Splatoon 2? Octoling? Edit gear ? Rom edit?

Probably you edit the gear or used a octoling if so you can’t be unban.

I used mine to look aroud (never had the chance on doing anything) but if I did (I have use it to give me some money depending on my level) and not playing around with gear/weapons and other stuff.

So yeah you’re banned and now the only thing that you can do is buy a new console and transfer your data to the new one if you have a Splatoon 2 cartridge (new console is enough)

As others have mentioned, it seems that the only way out of a ban this time around is going to be with a fresh console.

Yes, you will have to go to a store and buy a new Switch, extract the certificate from the new Switch and wait until a redirection method is developed for putting the new certificate on your old Switch.

As 2 Switches can't use the same certificate without being banned you will need to either keep wifi off on the new Switch or if you don't mind being a bit of a dick you could deliberate corrupt the NAND of the new Switch and then return it to the store for a refund. The 2nd option is what I think many people will do when ban waves start happening.

You shouldn't have gone online with a modded console or attempted to cheat online, nothing you can do short of spending money on another console. Sorry, you're out of luck.

Hello, I am also interested in getting my switch unbanned, I was banned because I hacked my switch, but I only did it to dump games and mod BOTW. I did not do any cheating in online games. I am also extremely pissed off that people are calling you a "cheater" and "you deserve it" they are aholes. I hope that in future there will be a way to unban your switch.
