Hello,

I installed alot of Games on my WiiU, but i put them all in Folders to dont scroll that much. (Also VC and so on...).
But now my WiiU mentioned that there are to many games installed i should delete some..?!

Is there a way to avoid this instead of deleting? An homebrew or something? :)

Thanks in advance,

The WiiU has a hard-coded limit of 300 games being the maximum it can have installed at once. I don't know of any homebrew that can get around this, but you could always just swap between two hard drives. Or Loadiine, but that's not really recommended.

The Wii U has a limit of 300 titles being installed at once.
Maybe you should first finish these and then install the next 300...

The gamecube part for example is a total waste. Just add an icon that loads Nintendont and select your game from there.
Same for the Wii, use a forwarder that loads your USB - they all have fancy menus where you can chose your games from.

Yeah the actual limit is either 291 or 292 because there are like 8 or 9 system icons that you can't delete and if you have an Haxchi icon that's another one that counts. Your best bet if you want like a ton of Gamecube games is get a second hard drive and use it in vWii.

Wii U and 3DS both have this 300 limit unfortunately. It has been a hope for a long time that the hacking scene might one day be able to remove or alter the limit, but there has never been any real headway in that department. Hopes have rekindled a little with the many Nintendo source leaks in the past year. While part of the 3DS source code was leaked, it unfortunately wasn't the part that included the limit. If one of these leaks includes the Wii U source and/or that part of the 3DS source code, then maybe, just maybe there could be hope for removing or changing the limit. But I wouldn't hold your breath at this point.

Just install your favorite Gamecube games as Wii U channels, and then install a Nintendont Wii U channel for all the other Gamecube games in your collection. That's what I do.

Thank you, but then i have to add another HDD because i could not use the WiiU HDD, this would be shitty then :)
Because i have already an USB Wii, would be only to fill the space hahaha =)
