ive not tried the game mate im still on 5.05, i just read that some are having to reinstall games after the update to get them working properly again.
i cannot give you a link on here to another forum it breaks the rules but if you search google "ps4 hack" im sure it will be very near the top

1) buying a 2nd PS4
2) backing up the necessary stuff so you could potentially downgrade again in future - this needs a Teensy board and soldering wires to a chip on your PS4.
Neither are ideal.
(Just in case anyone gets excited seeing the word "downgrade" - ONLY possible with your own backup from your own console, if you didn't attach wires to your PS4 and take a backup with a Teensy on the firmware you want to go to, you can't downgrade.)

Theorically speaking, I read online that TLoU2 should have 7.02 SDK
So when 7.02 is out, we could get a backported version of this, too (not sure tho)

updating to 6.72 to enjoy full hack is not long ago.this morning the new payload got way more consistent.im giving it 2 weeks max to people to migrate
5.05 is way more supported at the moment
Plus, as far as I know, linux doesn't run on 6.72 at the moment
I guess that if the backporting works for everygame, most of people will stay on 5.05

you're the wrong buddy, who cares about Linux besides 2,3 nerds? unfortunately, most people are there for the games.
Backporting will not work for everything.we had the same debate 8 years ago with deank about new games being able to be backported.
Some games will have specific options only available in new SDK, it might be lightings, shaders, etc
I dunno why some simpletons think changing few sfos will make every game compatible.

Just staying as much as possible on 5.05 to get the situation more "stable" on 6.72
I guess that rumors about a CFW on 5.05 are fake, because I don't see the difference from the 2 JB methods
But I'm not really sure about it

yeah as you saw the fact i know about the linux payload makes me one of those 2 or 3 nerds ha!
I keep trying to tell people that i suspect there will be sdk issues but i don't know i just played this last night the backport for rdr2 right and it was great
But then i realized this morning doh the 1.13 update dropped so now I would have to back port that which is very yucky and might bring sdk issues as you wisely point out.
All in all I am going to try and keep none backport and backported copies marked and seperate and when possible switch my 5.05 from these backported copies to legit original. As i worry of the same sdk issues.
But for now my 5.05 is getting some love. It's really a huge issue no one has properly addressed because without playing it is very hard to.
