So once you install a wad (game) via a wad manager, can you transfer it to the sd card to save space on your console? This is on vwii by the way.

Number Two- Yes, you need to patch the IOS80, there is a patcher for that you can get right here. Keep in mind that if your Wii U suddenly turns off when you are patching the IOS80 (such as a power outage, for example) your vWii WILL BRICK. Thankfully the process is pretty fast so you should be fine.

But I've already downloaded those games? Would transferring do something bad? I don't have emunand stuff set up anyways.
Oh. But I don't have a big enough usb anyways. All I want to know is, if transferring wad installed games to the sd card is safe.
Isn't that the one where your device can't be detected? Its used so the format screen doesn't come up all the time right?
Oh I was thinking about the thing that hides your usbs. Its used to avoid the constant usb format message upon booting the wii u, sorry for the confusion there.

What does copy to the internal nand mean? Is it the immovable save data?Yes, it's totally safe
Basically, every time you load a channel or game off your sd card, it will copy the whole game temporarily to the wii's internal memory, or NAND. This is because of the slow speeds of the SD Card slot. One thing to note with the SD menu is that a few games just wont work, no matter what you do. I have two questions. 1. What happens if your wii doesn't have enough space and 2. which games won't work?
You will simply see a message saying that there is not enough space and all the games work by SD, just install them and have the latest version of Wii, this way they all work.
