Hacking Any way to increase the brightness even further?

My Vita screen is relatively dark, and the fact that games like SAAR lower the brightness doesn't help. Any way to make the screen more bright?

Doesn't work. It seems like a common issue, too.
I'm using a 1000 model btw.

I also have the same problem on a vita oled and don't have a solution

But, have you noticed it getting darker with time or was the screen always like that?
I have the impression that my screen got darker, but can't be too sure because I haven't used it for quite some time before noticing the dark screen.
Sometimes I think that's just an impression caused by the better quality of my new samsung mobile screen.

I swear I saw something that the brightness levels can be altered by a hex edit. Am I wrong? I’m looking now.

try nopowerlimits, its a plugin which removes some restrictions placed by ScePower like brightness limits and no wifi on some games. I use it on neptunia rebirth 2 to gat max brightness. though it wont make the screen any brighter then 100%

I already use a plugin that does that, and slightly overclocks the vita.
