No, you don´t have to put the bios on the 3ds.No matter which games I try to inject, the games always crash on launch.
I was thinking maybe it's bc I'm using the Playstation bios in the Forwarder, but I don't have the bios on my actual 3ds.
Do I need to put the bios on the 3ds as well? If so, where??
There's no need to copy the bios to the 3DS, it's very likely your PS1 eboot is a bad dump or the .bin + .cue of the game was a bad dump to begin with.No matter which games I try to inject, the games always crash on launch.

Or maybe the game doesn't work on the emulator

Try updating Luma and see if it fixes itThanks for the reply.
I'm trying games that are known to be compatible, like Castlevania Sympony of the Night, and Spyro the Dragon.
I've tried multiple dumps of each. I really can't figure out the problem. Completely baffled.
Maybe the size of the banner is causing problems. Or maybe it's because I haven't updated Luma in a while (though a RE3 cia I found somewhere to test works fine). Been trying for hours across two days to just have one successful injection lol.
My guess would be your dumps being bad. Check them up against dat-o-matic with their md5 checksum hash. If they are good dumps (in this case no-intro confirmed), my next guess would be you having problems converting them to chd or pbp. I believe only pbps work at this point in time actually. Thanks for the reply.

Was already asked ...Hi guys. i was wondering if someone could help me out everytime i try to use the psx forwarder i get this error 0X03 or something. any ideas?
it should work fine with the HLE bios. try using right clicking on the ps1 forwarder and use compatibility problem and change it to windows XP (service pack3) and in the ps1 forwarder itself. go to emulator options and unvink vertycal sync and unvink enable Dithering. also put sound interpolation to simple and try againThe forwarder doesn't seem to be picking up the bios it just stays on using HLE bios.
Mega Man legends is compatible but it doesn't move past "now loading" without bios.
Found the solution! The name of my scph1001.bin was SCPH-1001.bin after renaming it it was recognizedit should work fine with the HLE bios. try using right clicking on the ps1 forwarder and use compatibility problem and change it to windows XP (service pack3) and in the ps1 forwarder itself. go to emulator options and unvink vertycal sync and unvink enable Dithering. also put sound interpolation to simple and try again
Use .pbp files and not chd. Chd doesn't work. Does it find your bios? What files are your dump.i have read the compatibility list, and have tried to remake um jammer lammy like 4 times, but it does not work. is there a reason this might be happening?
I got a .bin file, then i converted it to .php with popgui, then i made the forwarder cia with this forwarder, and it doesn't workUse .pbp files and not chd. Chd doesn't work. Does it find your bios? What files are your dump.
Try running your pbp with standard retroarch then to rule out some issues.I got a .bin file, then i converted it to .php with popgui, then i made the forwarder cia with this forwarder, and it doesn't work
Psp is not the same as ps1. What you're asking for a PSP emulator for 3ds, which is highly unlikely to happen and is quite offtopic to this thread. Is it possible to play PSP games on here?
