Homebrew Corrupted Mii Channel from Savegame Manager GX

I used Savegame Manager GX and it caused my Mii Channel on the vWii to be corrupted. Whenever I enter vWii, it gives me a pop-up saying "unable to load mii channel data. please access mii channel and check mii channel data."
When I access Mii Channel, it shows
this, and I don't want to lose my data so I press no. However, I can't even use games like Wii Sports Resort because it requires Mii Channel to be working. I also cannot use any miis in other Wii games.
I decided to use AnyTitleDeleter to uninstall Mii Channel. I went back to the home screen and Mii Channel was gone, so it was successful. Then I installed the latest version of the Mii Channel wad (with YAWMM) using
these settings for the wad on NUS Downloader.
This did not work however and it still shows the same pop-ups that I mentioned earlier. Any ideas as to why? Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the reply! I was able to follow the guide until the part where you had to install the system update. I kept getting error code 162-3006. I read that I could solve that by using my phone as an access point to download and install the update but I can't do that because it'll use up my data plan.
Do you have any recommended solutions for that error? Whenever I try to find one there's always so many and I'm not sure which to try
