I have a switch that has both atmosphere (AtlasNX/Kosmos) and SX OS Pro (dongle and jig) on a 400gb ssd card formatted to exfat. I decided to update my FW to 10.0.3 from 10.0.2. I used ChoidujourNX (through sx os) and everything was fine until it got to the part where it said it needed to reboot after the update. It rebooted then showed the Nintendo splash screen and it went black. I waited 10 min and it stayed black. Held the power button for 15 sec then used my SX OS dongle to boot it back up. The SX OS spalsh screen came up then the Nintendo one and black screen again. Did multiple reboots until SX OS gave me the option to boot to either OFW or CFW. I chose options then payloads then selected Hekate. In Hekate, I selected Atmosphere. Got the splash screen for that then back to black screen. I did not have AutoRCM turned on prior to the update. Does anyone know how I can fix this boot crash? I am alright with wiping it all, put back my original nand (backed up prior to modding it - originally on 4.1 or 4.2, I cannot remember), and starting over, but how? Thank you all in advance...

You likely installed the update without exFAT support. Either use a different SD card to reinstall 10.0.3 with exFAT support, or reformat your SD card as FAT32 (backup everything on the SD card beforehand).

FAT32 is highly recommended anyway, since exFAT on the Switch has an increased likelihood of corruption.

Understood!

The ssd card is 400gb in size, I dont think i can do fat32 on something that big... Also, How do I launch ChoiDujour? Could I do it from Hetake without booting into the switch? Since I have to us the sx os dongle to turn it on, I dont think I could use my pc...

Yes you can do fat32, you need a different program than windows though. Just google guiformat. The only difference is you'll have to install games greater than 4 gb through usb but I prefer that easily over removing my sd card and all that, and it also can wear out the sd card reader, on top of that with the corruption going Fat32 is win win.

You can format nearly any sized SD card as FAT32 using guiformat.

You need to boot ChoiDujourNX using an SD card formatted as FAT32 if you want to reinstall the 10.0.3 update with exFAT support. It's a homebrew app. Either use a different SD card or reformat the one you have as FAT32. For the reason I mentioned above, you should reformat your primary SD card as FAT32 regardless.

Ok, I did the "backup the card and formatted it to fat32" approach you suggested... Oddly, the switch turned on with the SD card was removed... You were right, it fixed my issue. Thank you so much for your guidance, much better than the reddit group I normal frequent... You, sir, are aces!

Now a new problem... it wont let me transfer files onto that SD larger than 4gb...

I am using SX OS... how do I remote install those files larger than 4gb?

Do you have me on ignore something? I covered that. :( You have to install through usb. Google awooinstaller.

Files larger than 4GB require exFAT. You can use a splitter to split the files (I assume they are xci).

This isn't 2018 you don't have to split files you just install them through a usb app like Awooinstaller, Tinfoil etc... splitting them takes more time and is not necessary.

Go to Walmart buy a usb type a to c cable for about $7, then you can connect to the computer.

Or if you prefer amazon https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Type-C-USB-Male-Cable/dp/B01GGKYN0A/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=switch+usb+type&qid=1590728936&sr=8-1&th=1

I appreciate this but I already have a few of these cables... what I meant was when running Awooinstaller, it will prompt me to connect the switch to the pc after I already have the switch booted in sx os? or do i need to have atmosphere running? sx os sort of disable that usb-c port if in running that cfw...

No that's not true, you need ns-usbloader which should be in the github with awooinstaller, and you open it on your pc and it lets you choose your files from your pc and then you launch awooinstaller from the switch to install them and they work together. You might need to download TegraRCMGui and install the driver with it that way you have the Switch driver on your PC and then the cable should work fine.

I have installed dozens of games through sx os through my computer just fine.

What do you mean it disables your usb c port? It shouldn't

Well, it does... I went ahead and used Zadig from NS-USBloader github to try and install the libusbk drivers and it didn't see my switch. I used TegraRCMGui to install the driver as suggested by Jayinem81. It said it was successfully installed it but it doesn't see it. It keeps telling me the APX device drivers are missing each time I run the install. I can run NS-USBloader just find but it doesn't see my switch. Gold leaf is fine but Awooinstaller crashed to a baby blue screen when i load it.
