Use the homebrew application ChoiDujourNX.My Switch is on 8.1.0 and I am using SX OS.
I would like to update to 9.1.0. What is the best / safest way?
Dump them with NXDumptool. Is there any way to export game updates from sysMMC?
I like to keep my smaller games installed to emuMMC and I want them up to date.
Just don't go online after using CFW or homebrew and you will be fine. You are correct in that sysMMC and emuMMC are separate entities that do not interact with each other. I also recommend using the switch.homebrew.guideSo I'm completely new to this, I had a basic question. I have managed to enter RCM mode and inject the fuse_test.bin payload which suggests my switch is hackable. I have been reading all over I need to setup and use emuMMC to avoid a ban.
My understanding is this is separate to the sysNAND and runs exclusively off the sd card. What I want to understand is if, say I want to play a game on ofw online. If I boot up the switch normally with the sd card ejected, will I be able to play online? And will there be traces of my 'unauthorised' activities left behind that could result in a ban? Or if I ensure I'm offline exclusively when using emuMMC, will I be (relatively, I know its impossible to be completely) safe in avoiding a ban and continuing online play when on SYSNAND / ofw by ejecting the sd card?
Also what kind of activities will likely result in a ban irrespective of the use of emuMMC separate to the sysNAND, so I know what to avoid (installing .nsp /.xci homebrew etc). As in is there activity that will leave traces of activity that leads to bans even when done exclusively on the emuMMC offline, when I eventually go online on the sysNAND?
Sorry for the very long post

I have found two suggested hacking guides
"nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/"
And
"switch.homebrew.guide/"
I was curious which is better to follow considering my switch is on firmware 10.0.0
The second seems to be the recomended guide, but not updated for firmware 10.0.0 from what I can tell.
Also is there an updated incognito mode that I can use for firmware 10.0.0?
Its highly possible the console is patched if you were able to send payloads but the Switch didn't respond. Thanks in advance for the help.
I purchased a switch that was stuck on boot loop, I took it apart, tested all capacitors - and everything checks out fine. No shorts, on any of the main chips
I changed the battery as it was unable to charge, and wouldn't boot after I drained it.
I tried multiple tutorials online, but was unable to load a new firmware onto the switch. This may be due to not knowing what exact version the switch is..I was able to enter RCM mode though, and Tegra recognized the device. Tried 10.0, 9.2, and 9.1, fusee but none work.
XAW101199~ is my serial # Supposedly it's in the grey area, 50/50 chance of it being patched or not.
My switch is still stuck on boot loop. I don't know what to do.
