So if i update to fw 10.0, i must use this patches and use hekate then launch fuse-primary payload right ?

You can still do it the old way also using hekate with "fss0=atmosphere/fusee-secondary.bin" instead of chainloading "fusee-primary.bin. You just have to also use "kip1=atmosphere/kips/*" and use the files from THIS THREAD

However, keep in mind that that other thread I linked to doesn't include ES patches, so you would still need those from this thread. Seems kinda confusing but if you're ok with chainloading then just stick with that.

Thank you @Raugo for creating this thread. I don't know why the other topic is getting no more updates.

I use Hekate -> Fusee Primary chainloading method (with the patches on this thread).

Why some people use Hekate -> Fusee Secondary (with other patches??)

Any benefit?

I think it just complicates more... Hekate patches are a mess...

I do the same as you! I believe Hekate > Fusee secondary is the default configuration when you use Kosmos, which is why so many are rolled up in that use case.

I abandoned Kosmos for Atmosphere via Fusee-Primary once I got more savvy with everything and switched my Hekate config to autoboot fusee-primary. idk why this is seen as such an "inferior" method. Like, it adds literally 3 seconds to my boot time and gives me the option to jump into hekate as needed.

All of these kids who argue on Temp all day about what Nintendo switch cfw boot configuration is objectively better need to get a grip lol

Did you use the kosmos/hekate patches before? If so, I'd suggest completely removing them, then add these patches.
I'm going to try this tomorrow cause yeah without patches it works fine. With it doesn't load anything after two Atmos load screens.

Finally someone who knows how to use hekate properly!
Most people don't know how to configure hekate ini files...

Hekate is an awesome bootloader.
Atmosphere should be chainloaded from hekate, but not using hekate's default configuration.
hekate's default configuration makes some changes by itself to the way Atmosphere is launched.
hekate should be configured to launch vanilla Atmosphere (no custom changes) <- this is the correct way.

I can make a tutorial on how to do this, if anyone seems interested.

I'm having the same issue. I cut and copied everything while replacing any of the same files already under my Atmosphere folder. So doesn't that mean I shouldn't have any patches from Hekate and Kosmos before?

Make sure you're using atmosphere 0.11.1 and that you updated your fusee-primary file as well before injecting.

If it still doesn't work, delete your atmopshere and sept folder and re-download atmosphere directly from the github: https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/releases/tag/0.11.1

After that, re-apply the patches from this thread and try again.

It's working now. I think the problem was the sept folder or the Atmosphere folder. Before when I copied the patches over it asked to replace existing files under the Atmosphere folder so I guess I had patches leftover from hekate or something from before.

I did a clean install of hekate after deleting the bootloader folder and after injecting Hekate and turning autorcm on and then resetting to the rcm and injecting Atmosphere/fusee-primary.bin I'm getting a black screen again. I'm trying to use Tinfoil but it keeps giving me this nand message and I followed this post for help: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tinfoil-unable-to-read-nand.558901/

Sorry, I'm still confused about all this. I've decided to not use hekate and kosmos anymore, because of the pop-up message Tinfoil said something like "kosmos and hekate can cause data corruption" So now I'm using atmosphere and fusee-primary, and I believe it automatically uses emummc still? I WAS using that - and that's how I formatted my SD card and I haven't changed it. My switch currently boots up but still says CFW 10.0. How do I update that to 10.0.1? All my games start, but I have to click on "start software". I'm avoiding the "update button" from Nintendo's server because that might ban my switch? Or should I just allow it to update? If I remove my SD card and boot normal, it's on 10.0.1. So how do I also update my SD card??? Thanks if anyone can help!!
