I read readme but it is no working....
I think you are reading the wrong one.

add screenshot support (put png files in "roms/media/mixrbv2")
add video snaps support (put mp4 files in "roms/media/video")

There are links on the github for a full pack.

Just tested retroarch and the overlay project, the bezels are amazing. Is there anyway to add bezel support for this project?

We have moved over to the neo version is there anyway to keep neo and alpha? I find some games run better with the alpha core.

It's not working for me. I installed the latest vpk with vitashell and all I get is a black screen overlayed with three different sized shaded rectangles. The latest Vitashell (2.02) is installing it to the app folder (ux0:app/PFBA00001) and not the data folder.

You need to copy the content of the release zip to ux0:/data/pfba

Tested the psnes and pfba neo, both work flawlessly. Thanks and have a good Easter.

Hello Community, I need your help..
I downloaded the latest release pfba 4,3 but I have a problem with the control.
the digitialpad only works (after a a second delay) to the left, but not in other direction.. the left analogstick moves down and right...but also with a delay.

on every other game or with an old pfba version, everything works fine.

Edit: worked it out..

Hi,

Deleting the config.cfg file may fix the problem.

Quick question: installed the latest version of PFBA from the github site; moved the zip content in /data and the app run fine (although takes forever to load at startup, I guess because it is reading all the rom gamelists files); although I can't solve 2 problems:

1) my arcade roms are in different folders; I tried to modify the config file, but it gets overwritten so you can only have 10 rom paths in the config file. Also the first path is always the rompath for arcade from what I understand, the second is always colecovision and so on. I tried to add multiple paths for my arcade games, replacing the colecovision rompath for example, and when running PFBA, it thought that the games in the other folder were colecovision, showing games as colecovision. I assume this is a limitation of the app that can have only 1 folder set for the rompath for each platform?

2) I can see no snapshots. Downloaded the pre-made image zip files with the images, and tried all the combinations described in the readme and on this thread, and none works. Tried "ux0:/data/pfba/previews/rom-name.png", "roms/media/mixrbv2", "roms/mixrbv2" but none did work. the games still show no image. I assume that the path is valid only if the images AND roms are in the same path? because for example my arcade roms are in "Ux0:/data/roms/arcade1", so do I have to create a "media/mixrbv2" folder there for the images to be recognized, or the images are always loaded from the standard ""ux0:/data/pfba/" folder, no matter where the roms are?

It's not the first time I've experienced this.
Does anyone actually use these things to, you know, play games? Because I swear it often feels like I'm the only one who does. The vita is not powerful enough to handle even the last version of FBA (2.97.43). FBNeo is probably worse. This emulator is a great idea targeting the wrong version, frankly. I often ended up just going back to retroarch and playing the same game through FBA 2012 tbh.

I use fba often, some games like cps3 won't run, other systems works no issue. I have fps counter on and overclock if I find the fps dip or unstable. I find the overlay options in retroarch to be very nice and so uses retroarch for the time being.
