in the Xash3DS folder on the root of the sd card i put the valve folder. inside the valve folder is the half life files
i also put the extras.pak in the valve folder
Did you delete video.cfg, opengl.cfg, and config.cfg? (If you can't find these files in your folder then that's fine. Just delete the ones out of these 3 that you can find

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also, just want to make sure, you grabbed the valve folder from your Half-Life installation folder, right?

For using Opposing Force and Blue Shift, do we just copy their valve folders onto the same Xash3d folder and copy the same extras.pak file and delete the same .cfg files, or do we need to copy them onto another folder? can we have the three games at the same time?

Unfortunately, Blue Shift and Opposing Force are changed juust enough that Xash is incompatible. That's why on the Play Store there are SO MANY versions of Xash, each for a different game. (CS 1.6, Blue Shift, Opposing Force, TF Classic, etc.)

You could try launching the .3dsx release with a command-line argument trough a .xml shortcut.
This allows you to enable the dev-console or launch mods ( most mods do need their source code compiled in the executable )
