Team-Xecuter Solution coming soon for latest Switch models

It seems that TX has found a way to modify the latest Switch consoles, including the newly released Lite
SXMOD.png

Since the new 'red box' Mariko units appeared, people have been asking when will it be possible to run CFW on it, well today MaxConsole was in touch with trusted TX reseller, that been given some advance news on a new solution that is coming soon, and that it infact works on all new Switch models, not just the 'patched' ones, but even the 'mariko', and 'lite' models as well, see below what they mentioned:
TX has recently taken the time to demonstrate to us some of their Work-In-Progress. Notably for 'patched' and 'mariko' units which is very advanced, and works flawlessly. We were not given a firm date or prices yet, but knowing TX we know the price will be very reasonable. We also saw early beta for Switch Lite console as well.
So that above is great news, and we will have more in the coming weeks, as we have requested to get an early sample from the trusted TX reseller, so that we can share more info with our loyal readers, on how TX's new solution works and what is involved and pics of course!

You mean the atmosphere code that was written by SciresM to be equivalent to Nintendo's Horizon code that he was reading at the same time?
So TX are bad for ripping off work by SciresM who ripped off Nintendo, all the while most people wants to rip off Nintendo games.
Cleanroom reverse engineering is not the same as copy & paste. That's like saying redrawing a picture is the same as copying it. There is also lots of original work in Atmosphere.

@V-Temp
Say it already he is a troll:P

Right, so by your analogy TX photocopied what SciresM traced by hand & Nintendo originally created from scratch.

Not exactly a huge moral victory there.

The main difference is people like SciresM & hate TX, the facts are irrelevant.

You could just read the thread. It starts as an RCM access post, which isn't an exploit, then it becomes a save game exploit, then it becomes a firmware. Then it discusses reporting to and hearing back from Nintendo with their exploit, meaning they already submitted the full exploit to Nintendo. (In and of itself the time table of a disclosure, testing and confirmation, and pricing is usually weeks to months, not days. Particularly for a random person submitting a claim in HackerOne.)

Save game exploit is a software side attack, in this application seemingly creating something in memory that permanently 'bricks' the system into a compromised RCM. But this isn't a product, nor is it unpatchable as it requires a software vector so long as the system isn't already compromised.

So its at odds with the premise of this thread to which it is being attached, as this thread is about a hardware product. But if RCM is exploited through a save game exploit, there's no actual hardware needed to be sold that doesn't already exist. Hardware itself isn't necessary by the claim made, just a "hacked save and some files". It also references the 3DS ZeldaHax, which are again software based (also the analogy doesn't actually make much sense because exploiting zelda requires capabilities not possible on the switch).

Whatever veracity may or may not be in any of these claims, the details themselves are quite incongruous.
How is a savegame exploit possible if you can't even import saves on your Switch?

Yeah, but it wasn't there before all of this happened. It got moved around Wednesday of this week, right after the TX announcement.

I'll just wait till when this exploit is released and see if the method is similar to what was described by him.
Where did you get the date when it was moved? iirc it started in EoF, that's why you see many people (even me) playing along with the joke. There is no way this guy found an exploit, again by his post history.

And it keeps going and going . . .
It's a forum and people are giving their opinions (even if they are stupid opinions or legit ones) about the topic of a new exploit from TX. People who want to close the thread or want to tell others what to post should go away really.

I would like to see TX to demonstrate to hack the patched and revisioned Switch and release the tool to public.

I would like my mother to love, and accept me as I am. Let's face it though, we don't always get what we want now do we.

That's funny for sure. I just want hack tool to be available before I buy Mariko Switch with improved battery and improved screen to use as my main Switch.

If nothing so I just use my hacked Switch with Atmos, anyway.

That would be really stupid since we are likely to get a Pro model in a year or two and if they really found an exploit they shouldn't put it out so Ninty can fix it before they release their Pro models.

They should wait instead.
Apart from that: Impressive that they found a solution (if they really did).

Come on dude in the world of tech waiting a year or two is like two hundred. First off there are already like 10+ Million patched v1 units to sell to, then the coming millions of Mariko units....You got an exploit and you want to sell it then you strike while the iron is hot. We don't even know what a Switch pro would be as it may use an entirely new chipset and changed security methods. So why hold an exploit for years when it may not even work on the not yet existing new hardware. I hope they get this shit out by Xmas as I will be getting my Poke Switch Lite on Friday and can't wait to hack it up.

9.0.0 (technically 8.1.1, but meh) added partial support for a new piece of hardware that uses Mariko/t214 configs. If this exploit even exists (I don’t think it does) releasing it now when we know for fact that a new piece of hardware using the same SoC is coming would be completely foolish.

Thanks for pointing out the obvious (in case there are more impatient ppl not willing to understand).

@Quicksilver88 As much as I like your name (big Quicksilver fan here) I gladly wait the two years when it means, that a day 1 purchased Switch pro would definitely be hackable.
Why releasing it now (if the exploit even exists)? You said it yourself: There are already millions of exploitable units. I don't see any reason why the community would need an exploit for the newer Mariko models "at any cost" if they can get one of over 17 million hackable units from ebay or elsewhere that are almost as good.
(also I don't see any reason to buy a stupid Switch Lite, even if it's hackable, but that's just me)

Sure, we don't know if TX really got something. Also we don't know if there will really be a Switch Pro. And finally we don't know -if both will be true- if the exploit would help breaking the Switch Pro's security, but even the chance is worth waiting and if the Pro is out and TX finds out the exploit is not working, they can still release it and all Mariko consoles will be hackable without giving Nintendo the chance of another hardware revision with even more vulnerable units being sold at that point.

Everybody who's interested in using a CFW now knows that Mariko units are not hackable yet. So get an "old" unit and be happy. That's what I'm doing and I can promise you, my life is great. ;)

Not everyone has the money to go out and buy a hackable Switch, especially if they've already bought a patched one.
