Team-Xecuter Solution coming soon for latest Switch models

It seems that TX has found a way to modify the latest Switch consoles, including the newly released Lite
SXMOD.png

Since the new 'red box' Mariko units appeared, people have been asking when will it be possible to run CFW on it, well today MaxConsole was in touch with trusted TX reseller, that been given some advance news on a new solution that is coming soon, and that it infact works on all new Switch models, not just the 'patched' ones, but even the 'mariko', and 'lite' models as well, see below what they mentioned:
TX has recently taken the time to demonstrate to us some of their Work-In-Progress. Notably for 'patched' and 'mariko' units which is very advanced, and works flawlessly. We were not given a firm date or prices yet, but knowing TX we know the price will be very reasonable. We also saw early beta for Switch Lite console as well.
So that above is great news, and we will have more in the coming weeks, as we have requested to get an early sample from the trusted TX reseller, so that we can share more info with our loyal readers, on how TX's new solution works and what is involved and pics of course!

No he did not. Much like the post that started all this, he made a claim and presented NO evidence to back up said claim. TX themselves have made no announcement regarding this and until such a time when an announcement is made by TX themselves(and no GaryOpa doesn't count) this will be nothing more than a rumor filled with conjecture and baseless supposition

Costello being presented with evidence and then claiming he saw it and it's legit is enough in my book to confirm it's legit. He's a trusted source. If you want to continue to be skeptic that's your right, but understand that anyone involved in this site and the scene will hold him against his word. I can understand "I need to see it and hold it in my own hands" and you will be able to do that very soon. So relax.

It depends on how low level it is or if it requires higher level software to function. Ideally (for pirates), it would simply patch out or bypass signature checks. I mean, this is Xecuter we're talking about. Homebrew isn't going to be their main focal point. If it's a flashcard then hopefully it will support homebrew, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

What I'd like to personally see if a device that would require soldering, function independently from the console, wouldn't require any external software and allow you to utilize all of the current homebrew functionality out there and could be updated externally (when required). Probably a pipe dream, but that's what I'd like to see.
No matter how low/high level it is, it WILL break with Ninty software updates and WILL need to be updated, there is no way around this.

I'd consider Fusee Gelee to pretty much be the holy grail of exploits. It gets you full arbitrary bpmp code execution before pk1ldr is loaded, and isn't patchable. It can be used tethered without any sort of hardware modification, but can be applied to a modchip to make it untethered for those who are willing to hardmod. But that's just me :P

Because downloading files and copying them onto your SD card is such a BIG difficulty curve...Every time anyone says" oh Atmosphere is harder to set up" i can't help but laugh. It updates the EXACT same way as SX OS. You download the new files, place them onto your SD and boot with the appropriate payload. It's not hard, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to set up and do it. Not to mention that Atmos updates are never broken, or very rarely are, unlike TX's updates which are ALWAYS, without fail, broken with varying degrees of severity

I use Atmosphere and even with pre-configured packages like Kosmos I've had to spend hours upon hours debugging problems that just don't exist when using SX OS. Problems usually pop up after each firmware upgrade. You're lucky if all you have to do is copy over the latest Kosmos and have things work, but that is rarely the case. You now have to also copy over Kosmos and find the latest signature patches. Plus, you have to have entire teams of people putting together like Kosmos or Kefir in the first place, which requires them to do a lot of work. All of this requires pre-existing knowledge of how the firmware works and how all of the other aspects of the entire process interact with each other (and that's when they are acting nicely together not when one component is broken). I don't particularity care that you think it's "as simple and copying over 1 file", but clearly with your lack of knowledge about scene matters you opinion really doesn't reflect reality nor does it really matter.

Edit: Don't even get me started on creating, managing and using a emuMMC under SX OS compared to Atmosphere. You're clearly an out of touch fanboy. Please move along.

They could have found another bootloader level exploit that's triggered by a modchip. It's not "impossible". All scenes I've been in there's always the "there's only one way" until someone comes along and provides "another way" and proves the rest of the scene wrong. I mean, the original person to hack the Switch did so when it was supposed to be "impossible". History seems to keep repeating itself and until it doesn't I'm not going to claim otherwise. It always happens.

I don't recall saying anything was impossible here? I'm guessing you misinterpreted my first part, I meant that CFWs will always need to get an update for new sysupdates, which is factually true, I did not mean that all exploits would need to be changed/updated.
Also bootloader bugs are ez to patch :shrek:

What would be a hilarious meme is if they made a hardmod that gets the system into a state where you can burn fuses lol.

The RCM exploit required a hardware revision, so it wasn't easy to patch. So if Xecuter has found another (not another RCM exploit, but another boot level exploit) Nintendo will have to roll out a new design. I meant boot level, that can't be patched (when I said bootloader). CFW could also be redesigned to be more dynamic and adapt to updates (to go along with their new chip). Theoretically, of course :)

Edit: What we'll probably end up with is a piracy solution :(

Edit2: Regardless, whatever it actually is, the thing is legit. So we'll have to wait to see what TX is going to grace the scene with.

I am aware that FG wasn’t patchable :shrek:. Yea, I figured you meant bootrom, I wanted to joke around a bit (hence the “:shrek:”) :P.
Making CFW more “dynamic” isn’t possible unless you can predict what Nintendo will do and predict new keys :P

The sad, unfortunate truth :(

I’m still saying fake until they show a video of them running something that can only be done with hax on a retail Mariko unit.

Problems pop up after every firmware upgrade on EVERY CFW, and at least Atmosphere hasn't had an issue so severe that it actually BRICKED people's switch consoles like with SX's latest update. I'm not even talking about Kosmos, i'm talking about vanilla Atmosphere. Never, since i started using it, have i had a single issue with it not working or doing any damage to my unit. I copy over the new files and boom, it's done. And along side me are many other users. It's not a matter of "being lucky if nothing wrong happens", luck has nothing to do with it. Also how does the work that the teams put into their packages make the end user's update more or less difficult? That's going on a tangent that has nothing to do with the discussion at hand. The end user doesn't NEED pre existing knowledge of how the process works, all they need is a solution that works and is simple to update and Atmosphere is just that. Regarding the sigpatches sure Kosmos doesn't include the, HOWEVER they do tell you where to get them. Also i never said it was" copying over one file" don't put word in my mouth. I said it's as simple as downloading and copying over the new FILES, note the plural. Because that's what it is. It's not difficult, it's not complicated, it's not rocket science. Setting up Atmos may take more TIME when compared to SX but it's certainly NOT harder. Also i don't need to have any scene knowledge for my opinion to count any less and the fact that you'r dismissing it on that basis just goes to show how petty TX fanboys are, taking every excuse they can to show how" superior" their solution is, it's pathetic to say the least

As for EmuMMC, i can't say much about it since i personally don't use it, i see no need to use it in my personal case, hence why i didn't even mention it in my original post. And if i'm being a fanboy, what does that make you, who dismisses other people's opinions because they are different than your own, using" scene knowledge" as an excuse? Move along yourself

So setting up Atmosphere is more involved and requires much more time then simply copying over one single file and if you want to use basic features like emuMMC/NAND you'll be stuck spending half a day setting it up. With SX OS you copy over 1 file and press a couple of buttons in a menu (for both normal and emuMMC/NAND usage).

It's the same hate I saw when Gateway released a plug and play flashcard when the free software only method took 8 hours to setup, yet people were convinced it was easier and faster. It's called being delusional based on personal bias. It's a common thing when people are too petty to realize shit. Time to grow up maybe (or will you keep running into the glass door and keep crying because you're hurting yourself)?

Regardless if you can't see how bias you are and how it blinds you, I'm not going to try to stop you. Whatever floats your boat. I'll just laugh at you because I work with facts, not favoritism. Did you miss where I stated I use Atmosphere? I'm just not going to claim the shit is as simple or easy to setup, use or maintain then one of it's competitors when it's not. Considering you don't use Kosmos you should understand there's multiple components that work together that must be maintained and updated correctly. Even with knowing how things work (which required you learned how they worked) it's still a lot more effort then copying over 1 file to a SD card.

You can't really think that that the majority of people want to spend all sorts of time setting shit up instead of playing games right? You clearly don't understand the majority of the demographic using these things (probably because you're part of a very small petty hate group that sits on some random internet server and virtually strokes each others egos, while going about showing your intolerance and hatred for others - all based around a fucking video game mod).

I'm also not standing up for Xecuter's SX OS or the people that use it. I hate scene trash, regardless what CFW they use to pirate shit with.

Whatever your opinion is it doesn't matter. You've earned yourself a place on my ignore list. Maybe in 20 years when you stop running into the the glass wall while wondering why you're getting hurt and finally listen to your parents you can hit me up an apologize for being an ignorant little prick.

Since this is a reseller we just have to wait for TX to confirm it. But if they say it's true it means it's true.
Aren't you kids tired already of having your mouth shut by them and appear like a clown everytime? Just listen to me and do yourself a favor, start saving those few money required to buy this and stop being salty.

I'd imagine SX are busy calculating their potential profits before releasing this. Yea, they could charge $100 for this and people will still buy it. Basically they can corner the market as they are the only ones that has the exploit.

Leeches just want everything handed to them for free. A lot of them probably didn't even buy their own Switch consoles and would have to beg to get whatever device Xecuter is going to release. The others are just cheap and like to talk shit, but now they're going to pay to pay to play (they'll still talk shit for a while though).

$100 isn't an unreasonable price to pay for these sorts of products.

Damn. Hexcksy getting absolute shut down by the admin Costello has made my day. Maybe focus your attention on something else rather Then your unhealthy hatred of tx. Lmao.

Cant wait for tx new hacks to be made available. Guess I’m purchasing a new switch.

Heh, all these years and Hexyz has is still obsessed with hacking SX OS so he can release a free version to everyone who wants it. Someones needs to inform the guy he's failed and it's time to put down the crack pipe and move on. I mean, the entire goal was to allow the masses to use the CFW for free - so surely it's such a horrible product.

a few times on here 'knowledgeable' users have said TX didn't have the skills of the Atmos team and they would have to show the Atmos splash screen with CFW 7.X , even thou they came up with XCI loading, usb loading and emunand first.

I don't recall Hexkyz ever praising TXs work but I do recall SciresM saying they did a nice job , i think with the usb loading.

Err... how? He just glossed over it and didn't even give a proper response. You have pretty shit standards for "shutdowns" if you consider that one.

Do people still use Xecuter switch custom firmware?

I don't and never have. Can't see paying for something that I wouldn't use. I know it has features that are worth money to some people, but those features don't interest me.
