Would anyone have any idea if this is possible in some way with RCM?
You could always make a nand backup and try it but I'm 95% sure you will brick it.I want to try something, but I'm not really sure. Asking for if anyone around here has tried to do that.
What would happen if I copy the contents of the USER partition of the NAND of ANOTHER working Switch console?
Would it let me go on with using the system, actually bypassing the first joycon screen? Or would it simply do nothing? Or would I actually brick the system for good?
Just asking since I really don't want to experiment with it and make it fully brick.
I thought so. Thank you.You could always make a nand backup and try it but I'm 95% sure you will brick it.
I thought so. Thank you.
Will test it then, and report back in case anyone else has something similar going on.
I mean, I know that's what will happen. Anyway, if there's even a 1% probability that just copying the contents of the USER partition from one to another could let me use the Switch (i.e. bypass the joy-con sync screen), I think backing up the faulty switch NAND (I have access to RCM) and then trying this wouldn't be bad. If it doesn't boot, I restore the USER partition contents, and if it still is working wrongly, I restore the full NAND. Although, there's not much room for it working wrongly, since everything it does is to expect me to put the joy-cons in the Switch.Don't use another switch nand backup or you gonna brick 100%

I've seen nowhere anything about bypassing the joy-con sync screen, so I thought I could try this at least. I'm really stubborn sometimes, sorry.
Hi everyone.
I got a Switch with a damaged right rail.
It's stuck in this screen, since it doesn't take the left joycon.

Is there any way with homebrew / RCM to skip this?
I don't mind not being able to use the joycons in portable mode. So I don't really want to fix the rail.
