I recently downloaded homebrew onto my 2DSXL, but immediately after my DS stopped powering on. Whenever I hit the power, the battery will flash on and then instantly go back off again. I've tried removing the battery and putting it back in, and I've also tried removing the data on both my SD cards, to see if that would fix the problem. After trying this again, I found that it still won't work. Is there anything that I might be able to do to get it back up and working?

You need boot.firm from Luma 9.1 on your SD card. Also make sure to finish https://3ds.guide/finalizing-setup because then you'll be able to boot without an SD card.

Does that mean that I'm going to need to go and redo some of my homebrew stuff? I wiped the SD card that I did on, though I think that I still have some of the files on my computer. Or is that all that I will need to be able to get it on again?

Ive been going back through the steps for downloading homebrew, but on the installing boot9strap, on section 5, it says under sd card section select "nintendo DSI TM" but all I can see is the hax! program. Is this whay I'm supposed to use or did I do something wrong?

I got this problem fixed, but now I'm finding that I don't have a folder called boot9strap, does anyone know where I need to get this, or if it even matters?

If your console is going on then off that means you've finished installing CFW and all you need is boot.firm on your SD card. You don't need to do anything else (unless you want to get essential homebrew apps on your console and be able to boot it without having boot.firm on your SD card).
