Hello everyone, I found a completely new Logitech Driving Force EX force feedback steering wheel in my attic. I had forgotten about it and now I finally decided to try it out. The thing is, I don't really know any good games that work with a steering wheel. I tried Trackmania 2- Desert but it's not designed for it and doesn't support force feedback.

Are there any good games I could just pick up and play with the steering wheel? I don't want anything too big or recent since I want to run them on my puny ASUS transformer tablet that barely runs TF2.

Thanks.

I can't really say which ones, but I would say try more simulator racing games. They often have support for wheels. Trackmania is way more arcady. It worked fine with 3rd party controllers as I used to play it with that.

What you can also try is check if all the drivers for it are installed. It could be the problem and doesnt hurt to double check.

Force feedback might be a bit more tricky but all the same programs that allow things to fake being a keyboard for the purposes of play should also work with a steering wheel to allow non supported games a chance.

Is Mario Kart a particularly good choice for a wheel? Wheels are pretty much always a "for the fun of it" thing and Mario Kart, especially ones like the SNES effort, are more or a twitchy precise input affair, not to mention did not really exist for the SNES for the devs to even vaguely attempt such a thing like they possibly did on their on the PS1 on up games. Sure a more advanced script would do better than an "is wheel turned" thing (presumable doing some kind of pulsed input depending upon wheel angle) but still not going to solve Mario Kart.

Model2 emulator has support for wheels and force feedback but it requires some configuring.

Still you then get access to the two best racing games ever (Sega Rally and Daytona USA) so it should be pretty worth it. :)

Alright, Thanks! I'll try that out.
