Hacking Question why kosmos12.1/12.11 doesn't contain fs-patch as kosmos12's

hey guys
i downloaded kosmos v12.1 recently because update fw 8.0.
after unzip the archieve files additional signpatch, i found it doesn't have fs-patch as former . only es-patchs.
does anyone know why?

Because the es patches came first for the 8.0 firmware. Kosmos was updated with them. It's only after that the verified es patches arrived.

I assume the next Kosmos will included both.

sorry dude. i don't figure out what difference between es patches and fs patches.
does the es patch is primary and fs patchs is only derived by es patch?

could you explain their relations in detail? thank you

I'll make assumption based on what has been said:

because someone has to do the work and find the addresses on the new firmware to patch manually, so it takes time.
the es address was the only found addresses at the time kosmos did a release, so fs is not included. fs address has been found after kosmos release. it's not derivated, it's just found later.

es is e-ticket system module. it's used to manage the bought games, tickets validity and title installation.
fs is for patching signature check for launched installed titles.

so, both patches can be found independently based on how much time the hacker spent on finding what to patch, creating the ips and releasing them.
to me, there's no relation, they can be found/released in any order.

so JBmario says it could be released in the next kosmos version and espatch can make cfw install new nsps .

as you mentioned these installed games still need waiting after kosmos's fs patches be released, otherwise we have to delete and install nsps again.

I compared the provied files, and see that it doesn't even contain the previous fs patches.
maybe they are not needed anymore?
I've read hekate does fs patch now, but I didn't read that in the changelog. of course, you need to use hekate. if you use fusee-primary instead of hekate then you need FSpatches.
I continue reading to get more info. I can't confirm by testing as I'm still on 4.1

just use Kosmos to make it easier and only ES patches are required.

if you want both FS/ES patches, get the package from here :

the-4n always verify them before providing, so it can take some time before the package is updated after new fw release.

Kosmos get the fs/es patches from here https://gbatemp.net/threads/i-heard-that-you-guys-need-some-sweet-patches-for-atmosphere.521164/. That's their source, so you can download them manually and put it on your SD card right now if you want, like Cyan said.
