Minor Switch firmware update 7.0.1 out now

As of today, Nintendo has pushed out a minor firmware update in the form of version 7.0.1. According to the patch notes, only one thing has been changed, which is a fix for Pokémon Let’s Go. Slight connection issues have been resolved when connecting Let’s Go to Pokemon Go, and of course, the expected general stability updates are included.

  • Resolved an issue where the Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! games cannot reconnect to the Pokémon GO app if the game software was closed after pairing with the app.

AT THE TIME of this newz, NO, but it's inevitable with all big titles incoming. i can say TX is waiting for SCIRES to release the KEY to some where, in order they can implement it in TX OS.

For the people saying Nintendo should patch a firmware bug by using a Pokemon GO update; they can't. This is for the same reason the switch is so hard to hack - games access all hardware (wireless garbage in this case) by proxy to system services and have no ability to do anything aside from what is permitted to them. This means that a game certainly cannot patch a broken service, and it also most certainly can't circumvent the service and directly access hardware.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
