Homebrew Question Bricked My Switch Can Someone Help?

So let me get this straight.

All those wannabe Ashes had a pokeball destroyed. With a Pikachu they pretty much stole. So they doxxed the other trainer and promoted people doing harmful things to his person in real life.

Then they ridiculed his mournful reaction - because now that they were anonymous and he was not - THEY felt powerful, and had to abuse it.

The difference between the "idols" millenials like to "play as", and their real action patterns and emotional triggers are so far apart - you could make a Pokemon episode about it.

Whats worse is that they dont even seem to see the irony - they are commited to be both the immagined highly moral character - and the worst of humankind at the same time - then they make topics, to share their expressed feels, so they feel better - if they see, that other people share in their feelings. Because in the social media age - thats what you do.

Preferably even post a youtube video to show your entirely misguided emotional backdrop. Then fake around a bit, that you really so concerned, but thatnks to your subscribers you bought new switch. Thanks, share and subscribe.

Its really, really bad.

So do every single website promoting viruses. I understand though, it was baited so people would fall for it, but even then, that's common practice for most malicious cracks/keygenz hosted on Youtube or other sites.

I dunno, maybe if the fake posts were made by users with a high post count or known users I would have fallen for it too, but in the end, I was the one who installed unverified warez to my console without a plan B. It would be my fault.

Like, seriously. I'm amazed how you can say those things and think it's a good analogy. People getting shot aren't doing anything illegal, they're just there. They ARE innocent. They live their lives.
You are, on the contrary, are doing something ILLEGAL. You are well aware of it. There is NO guarantee for ANYTHING, and EVERY single guide out there tells you to be cautious and backup. I'd add that it's not -exactly- the same things as risking your life.
If you don't want to play by these rules it's perfectly fine, you can keep your switch legit. Legit owners don't have to worry about bricking, and Nintendo will cover them.

How many times are guys going to pretend pirates are only victims here? You were talking about lying to Nintendo to try to have them handle the cost of this, of your own mistake while trying to steal from them.
You got balls no doubt. So angry (and with reason but that's not the problem) against two specifics people that you're making even more mistakes such as showing your face publicly talking about pirating unreleased games. Don't be surprised if Nintendo sends you an email.

Just because people are pirating doesn't mean its okay to go around bricking peoples consoles. The people that had their consoles bricked should've been more careful and had backups, but it doesn't mean creatable and jelly aren't assholes for bricking peoples consoles. They keep sucking up here in the forums but they are making fun of the people that had their consoles bricked in discord.

They didn't do it. People who fell for it did. I know you don't want to hear that but that's exactly what happened.
And again, no innocent people got their switch bricked for that. You are all making the mistake to assume that the whole hacking community is made of nice people. That's being naive. Some people are absolutely anti-piracy and will do that to you if they can. Some people will do it for the troll (I assume that's their case) and you can circle-jerk for months on how awful they are, but in any case, you were warned enough to do backup and no amount of false equivalence fallacies will change that.

And what I'm trying to say is that before bringing the pitchfork and threatening people, use the tools and the scene for what it's intended to be. Backup your own games and you will never run into that problem.
