That server where he is an admin is so doomed..

He should be banned for good after lost his admin role there.
before i left i let everyone know that nothing from that server should be trusted ever again
the dude is probably 13 years old based on his actions

no, I didn't post the NSP on the server I admin on. I wouldn't do that.
Yes you did post the 4MB nsp file and told everyone to do what they want with it

And they banned me there after questioning about his actions.

Good that they did this, so, i won't risk myself again.

If/when needed, i just create an alt discordapp account and enter there again. lol

i'm sure he won't afford that. Also new switches will probably be patched. He has shown remorse and is accepting the blame. I commend his attitude now, not his deed before.

You can use it for parts in case your new switch has future issues. Actually not bad to have an extra screen, sd card reader, battery, etc...
He's showing remorse for being caught red handed. He deleted his comments on Reddit as well in an attempt to cover it up. TBH if it wasn't for this thread I don't think everyone would have learned about the two people that caused this

This does not look like a person who deserve any forgiveness. Deplorable

another really sad thing about this is that switches that are able to be exploited are getting "destroyed" like that. why would anyone want to reduce the number of hackable consoles that are limited because nintendo fixed it? only nintendo would have a interest in that and you know the sad thing? it was not even nintendo. it was the "own" switch hackiing/piracy community. if i would work at nintendo i would laugh my ass off right now because my "enemy" is stupid enough to destroy itself. GG

Piracy community != Hacking community.
GBATemp is gathering both, but the philosophies can be quite different.

As someone who wants homebrew and modding and stuff, my enemy is not Nintendo. Nintendo is the company that produces the games I like.
I consider that a single loss to piracy for Smash Bros for example potentially means less characters down the line.
Nintendo is simply, legitimately doing what they can to avoid losing money. They're on their right to do so.

This brick wave is specifically targeting people who are causing these companies to defend themselves in the first place.
I can't help but feel that this whole thread is in pure denial that what they're doing is even remotely wrong. No honor among thieves and stuff.

Exactly. If he wasn't caugh, he still was like 'ok'.

I hope for the day people that create such malicious apps go to jail for entire life and die there.

we still have the right to discuss it
what are we, sitting ducks?
Discussion isnt what im talking about, im talking about the calls for his death, doxxing and yelling the same stuff over and over that hes agreed to.

sending someone to prison for messing up ur toy game is a bit absurd when the person who downloads it is the one responsible not him u chose to install it

i really dont care what happens to him
If you want someone to receive death threats and be publicly doxxed then you arent any better than him, just saying. Yeah of course what he did was shitty, but that is no less shitty. Eye for an eye is bad system. Let the mods ban him or community ex-communicate him, dont dox and threaten his life. Jesus christ I dont know why I have to actually say this.

Proof he shared the file

This guy does not deserve to be forgiven by anyone. And he's only sorry because he got doxxed. People say I'm a douchebag but I would never ever do anything like this to anyone
different server, and I shared it saying it was the Bricker
they can do whatever they want with it, all I provided to them with that is the convenience of not having to download a 4 gigabyte nsp and extract it
that's not even the same server either, that's /hbg/
