Went from 5.1.0 down to my original clean 1.0.0 then up to 6.0.0 for online and it was so easy!
Longest part was dumping my 5.1.0 incase something went wrong and just transfering my 1.0.0 to the SD, Choi itself took less than a minute which is amazing as when I originally went to 5.1.0 I did it with the old guide and it took forever and was so stressful... Can't believe how streamlined it is.

Thanks Raj!

Hello,
If I understard well you made a clean 1.0 nand backup, then you go from 1.0 to 5.1 cfw for use homebrew, nsp, xci, etc...
after some time you go back to clean 1.0 and then you update to 6.0 from official servers and now you go online without ban ?
This means that a clean nand backup is enough to be safe from ban.

I think that the only problem you could have is that after updating and booting to 6.0 of, the firmware controller will be updated and fuses will burn, so in the future you cant go back to 1.0. Is correct?
Thanks

i think as long as he keeps autoRCM enabled(doesnt boot stock) the fuses dont burn. If he always restores a clean nand before connecting online i think ban risk is low. Correct me if i'm wrong someone, i'm talking theoretically here.

Yep I'm still using RCM to save my fuses, I used a lot of homebrew before I made the NAND and it's still not banned a few months later

Ok so I updated using this tool to 6.0. It was EASY!

What I don't like is it goes in to AutoRCM mode. I've got SXOS Pro with the dongle. Even when I go to options > Uninstall AutoRCM it doesn't work.

Is there another way I should be doing this?

SX OS only toggles AutoRCM if it was installed from SX OS; you may have inadvertently enabled 2 forms of AutoRCM simultaneously. First remove the AutoRCM from SX OS, then either reinstall firmware 6.0 without AutoRCM using ChoiDujourNX or use briccmii/Hekate to remove it. Although if you updated your firmware to 6.0 from one below, I don't see why you would want to remove it since you will burn your fuses in the next non-RCM OFW.

Ok, I've managed to sort it now. FYI for anyone that uses SX OS and is on 2.0 the Install / Uninstall AutoRCM feature does not work.

I had to download 1.9, then uninstall it. Worked a treat.

Hi!
I'm on SX OS 2.0 and on firmware 5.1.0 with superban, so I cannot update via official sources. I have autorcm so is there any method so I won't have to play with paperclip again? :)
Can someone point me to a tutorial how can I update to 6.0.0? I don't want to mess anything up.

There is a guide you can follow within this thread. It is located under Extra/Important.

So i run firmware update 6.0 and i had help on discord. The user said to uncheck AUTO RCM in Choidujournx. because I already had it active in hekate. or it would brick.
So i turn off autorcm when updating 6.0 and reboot.. my RCM is gone.. now have to wait 1 month for a RCM jig cuz i cant replicate what i did the first itme.

Anyway. Was this suppose to happen?
Should i have disabled hekate autorcm but enable Choidujornx autorcm?

Whoever informed you of that does not know how ChoiDujourNX operates. This homebrew app overwrites whatever AutoRCM you have currently installed when installing the designated firmware files; it does not matter whether you have AutoRCM or not pre-installed. Toggling the installation of AutoRCM with ChoiDujourNX will determine if it gets re-installed through ChoiDujourNX or if it will install your firmware without it. Since you chose not to install it, ChoiDujourNX overwrote your boot0 (which is where AutoRCM is installed) but did not install AutoRCM when doing so meaning it removed the AutoRCM installation from Hekate.

Hey all, I'm wondering. Currently I am on 5.1.0 (with fuses burnt) if I restore my 4.1 NAND, boot with hekate and update to 5.1 with this tool. Will this allow me to boot the upgraded 4.1.0 NAND without rcm ?

So are there any downsides to using AutoRCM? I just updated to 6.0.0 using this, enabling AutoRCM, and was wondering if there were any adverse effects that may arise later on.

I use autorxm since months in firmwares 3x,4x,5x and now 6x and never had any issue. Battery drains slowly (leaving console all the time in standby when I don‘t play) and is perfectly fine for me

I've upgraded from 5.10 OFW to 6.0 with Choidujournx. However, i've now downgraded back to 5.10 with Choidujournx but i can't toggle autoRCM off in Reinx or Hakete for some reason.

Am i doing something wrong??
