Wii U Virtual Console Banner, no Save and no restore point

Did a quick inject test, 60FPS + WS patch works fine, using SM64 as the base. I had this issue before with another inject where the game gets stuck at the banner screen, it turned out one of the base files was corrupted.
Downloaded a fresh copy of the base and this fixed the issue.

Does it work on the Wii U Home menu or on loadiine? Here if I replaced the rom of SM64 by rom 60 fps the game freezes, but if return to rom without patch or the widescreen works. ie if the base was corrupted would have to freeze also with the ROM without patch.

Yes it does, it works in the WiiU Menu => WUP/USB install. Not sure if this helps but I didn't use the included FLIPS patcher, instead I used my preferred BEAT patcher to patch .bps patch files.

Even with F-Zero as a base, there has been several reports that both the US and EU versions of the game crashing at the same spot later in the game. Also there is random games crashes throughout the game as well.
Even though the game boots and plays fine, you wont be able to finish it.
i think all those reports were from not64 running banjo tooie, i never saw any reports of it crashing on vc base i have it installed but i haven't played it much tbh.

Beat patcher work !

In 2.png (see full screen) there is a small improvement, less Aliasing, it was used:
[Render]
Canvas Width = 1280
What is Canvas Width since there was this little improvement?

It does happen as an injected title, for me at least the US version crashed twice trying to open level 2, it did worked the 3rd time, but both the US and EU version would crash on a room on level 5... That alone wouldn't be so bad but there's a chain of events you can do that would trigger that crash without you going into that room directly.

Has someone been able to successfully combine both widescreen hack by gamemasterplc and the uncensoring patch for OoT? Both hacks require the v1.2 of the ROM as its base, but I haven't been able to combine them due to the obnoxious methods of patching which are so finicky about the base ROM used.

OoT 64 Widescreen patch:

OoT64 Uncensoring patch:

I want to basically have a Widescreen version of the v1.0 ROM, but sadly only the v1.2 has the widescreen hack, which is why I'm attempting to combine the v1.2 uncensoring patch too, to have all of those censored goodies back.
If someone finds a way to combine both patches into one ROM, please let me know, as I want to play this through Loadiine in full screen with no gamma :)

Could you not apply patches to two separate copies of the rom, then create ips patch of one and then apply ips to the other?

Split the rom in 2? Do all of the above and rejoin.

Can use a free splitter like hjsplit
Just finished doing that.
Split both the uncensored and widescreen patched ROMs into 4 individual ROMs each, then created IPS files for each one individually.
Then attempted to apply the IPS patches over the other 4 ROMs of the other hack, merged them together...

And nothing :/
I get but a mere black screen on boot, no matter what order I patch them (widescreen above uncensored, or uncensored above widescreen).
So sadly I'll have to sit this one out :/

I don't think these two patches will work together because from what I can see, the uncensored patch changes a lot of the hex values in the game. So when you try to apply the WS patch, the offset where the hex is applied to is different to the original v1.2 of the rom. Same goes when you patch the WS patch first, values are different when the uncensored patch goes on top.
It looks like with the uncensored patch, it has moved offset where the WS settings are, only way around this is to find a WS patch/GameShark codes for v1.0 or find the new WS patch/Gameshark code for the uncensored patch. gamemasterplc would be the person can figure this out.

Yeah I kinda figured it out when I was making the individual patches for each section of the ROM.
I was getting something like 4-5MB IPS patches, which I found really odd because the mere XDelta/BPS patches are less than 500kB in size.

I already asked gamemasterplc about a possible Widescreen patch for v1.0 in his OoT video, but sadly got no response. :/

Could someone maybe write a small tutorial on what to do? I will wait until the DarkScreenFix works but despite having used the latest beta (and its GUI) I was unable to succeed as I did not know what files I need to have before I can get started. Plus: I am in the EUR part of the world. Does that make any difference?

For what it's worth, Super Mario 64 dark filter removal and widescreen + 60 FPS patch works for me injected into Super Mario 64. I don't use Loadiine because it's obsolete. I installed my Super Mario 64 injection to an external hard drive.
