nds-bootstrap loader: Run commercial NDS backups from an SD Card

nds-bootstrap:

Thanks to the work of ahezard, Gericom, Apache, Robz8, _catcatcat, and shutterbug2000 and other contributors, we can now load NDS games from the SD card, without any flashcard/SLOT-1 card.

Don't expect high compatibility, but do expect many, many updates.

Pokemon B/W/2 all still don't work with 0.11.1
These are the same ROMs that were AP-patched and working before this update
Edit: It looks like none of the Pokemon main series games are working for me.
Phantasy star 0 is also not working for me, I even patched the AP for it.
These are all US ROMs and worked before 0.11/0.11.1

I have an original 3DS and Pokemon White is working fine for me. Nothing out of the usual.

Oh, also I haven't updated my system yet. I'm still on Ver. 11.8.0-41U. I'll update and see what happens afterwards. I updated and now the bottom of the top and bottom screen are slightly messed up but other than that the game seems to be playing like normally.

It looks like the issue was completely on my end. I deleted all files related to this and DSiMenu++, then downloaded them again to replace them. Upon replacing them on my micoSD I noticed the dates didn't match up and replaced them with the newest ones. Now the games mentioned in my first post are working again. This was just user issues created from having a messy download folder.

Animal Crossing Wild World US has minor audio issues at the title screen for a few seconds before the audio is corrected with "SOUND_FIX = 1"
The game does have some minor slowdown though, but it does seem to be playable.

Guess I'm gonna try to remove everything as well and redo it.

Update : Works now.
Zelda Phantom Hourglass EU/US works now.
Solatorobo works as well.

-> No progress for Golden Sun.

What's new?
  • VRAM boost is back! May improve performance a bit more, combined with TWL clock speed.
    To enable it, set "BOOST_VRAM" in nds-bootstrap's .ini file, to 1. If you want to enable it using DSiMenu++, then update it to v6.0.0.
  • Minor improvements.
Bug fix
  • DSi users: Sometimes when saving, sound would be turned down. This bug has been fixed, where the volume level will not change.
