just a quick question
is there a way to hardware mod the router stick to take power from the switch as i am using an external powerbank or any other way to be power independent ?
I don't think the switch outputs enough power (if any at all) to power our router here. Your best bet is to get the smallest power bank you can find and strapping both together using tape or zip ties.

Nice! Did you put in a 56ohm resistor?
Would you even need to? I am fairly certain the resistor is only needed to prevent accidentally negotiating a USB PD target. I am fairly certain the router itself ist PD compatible in the first place, negating the need to "force" non-PD.

yeah i wasn't too worried about it as i was connecting it straight to the usb pins so i knew i wasn't really gonna have any issues anyway

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
Veho @ Veho: That's a relief to hear. Do you know what happened?
