Hello all,
Need some help here as I am now on day two of trying to get this done and cannot get it working. Been following the tutorial in the tuts section here.
My issue is that I am on a Mac and have no access to a pc with USB 3 support. Since I have read horror stories about usb3 support in VMs I decided to make a RAW nand backup using the latest hekate from CTcaer. I used hacdiskmount to mount my backup FILE, and extract the modded files as indicated in the tutorial. I successfully patched them using the linked tools, and then restored it into my RAWNAND.bin backup. However, it appears the backup will not restore using Hekate. Fails immediately upon attempting. Do I need to set perms or something?
Second, tried following the instructions word for word, opening NAND directly using 'open physical disk' in HacDiskMount. However, even with the VM XHCI drivers, my switch never shows up. Always comes up as a failed "USB Mass Storage Device" in device manager. No amount of uninstalling, scanning hw etc has fixed it. Any ideas?
