Is this the key in hactool? If it is, try to find hactool GUI and enter the keys manually, it will make a key.dat file that you need.
Would you kindly tell me how to do that? I ve downloaded hactool already.

This new method was supposed to be user friendly but it got even harder than what it was yesterday

Right. Why do we always have to prove shit?
Get out there and learn.

Ikr very fucking annoying when they say something like "GIVE ME PROOF THAT THIS STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE THAT WAS SPECIFICALLY EXPLAINED TO ME ACTUALLY WORKS THEN I WILL BELIEVE!"

The people that say this crap should test it themselves rather than ask others to test it for them like their Guinea pigs.

There goes the kamikaze. Do please report here when/if you get banned in the future

I don't really see a point of reporting, those that do hack their Switch agree that there is a possibility of getting banned. (If there was an unban fix then that would be much better)

We're not sure how Nintendo detects this...

Considering that we were able to get away with this on the 3DS, its worth checking to see if it still applies to the Switch because we don't know if using a foreign header will flag Nintendo for a possible ban. One problem I see with this is that if Nintendo does a banwave rather than individual bans, we won't know until its too late.

It's always good to know more about what gets you banned fast and what doesn't. So far we've only heard about early CDN and cheating bans. "Backups" bans are still unknown.

On 3DS you never got banned for playing backups, unless you were playing leaked games online before their release date. I got banned for playing Sun/Moon when it leaked early. I hope this method is safer because it's using a donor game (I'm not going online either), but we really don't know how safe it is.

When the game crashes for me after I closed the software which only happened once, it gave me a message to share the data or to not share the data for the developers. (I still don't know if it's safe...)

Did you go online or did you just play the game without connecting to the Internet? If you did go online, why

Yeah I have the same when I try to close from menu, you can clear error logs from CTCaer's hekate mod.

I know but, most people still believe it isn't safe for some reason :/
You are taking the risk that you might get banned. If you're not okay with that then don't do this, don't try backups with a tool when one comes out. Don't try backups period and maybe get banned for using CFW. Nobody knows.

Back when Sun/Moon leaked on 3DS? I went online and got b&. I thought Nintendo's telemetry wasn't that good, but playing online before a game launches isn't smart. Haven't been going online in LayeredFS tho.

I know... I've stated this before on the thread... I don't give a crap about getting banned anyway

That awkward moment Nintendo decides to start banning people for legitimate reasons. To be fair, something like that has never been done in the past with a Nintendo game so its not like we had precedent.
