Just return it if it's higher than you want. Most stores should return hardware/systems within 14 or more days of purchase.
Don't know if it is different every state but the gamestops in my areas don't take back no opened New Items unless for trade for identical item if broken. Gotta check the return policy before buying to be safe.

Noob here. I am looking to buy a ps4 for a cheap as possible. Found one thats banned on 5.00 for cheap. Is it worth waiting for this new jailbreak or is it better to find a console on a firmware under 5.00?

Thanks so much for your help. So even though the console is banned, i'm not missing out on much. Had a hard time finding anything on less than 5.00, so for the price the fella is selling it at, it seems a good deal

Go to Walmart! I use to work there, and the staff aren't trained in detecting electronic return theft at all. You could literally buy a PS4 Pro and return it with your old original PS4 in the box... ok maybe not literally because of serial numbers, but.....
