He didn't WANT the master source tree, he wanted the source branch that had 0.5.2's source.
You gave him the source listed under releases, which is right but lead to confusion as the source is still hosted on github under a different branch.
So I gave him exactly what he asked for!

I have an R4 with a Kingston 2 GB micro SDHC card.

Two days ago, I backed up all of my files on a Windows 7 computer.

I used the Kingston for something, and then later, returned all of my files back on this.

GameYob now runs as though it has a virus or something.

It constantly freezes in game for short bursts, makes unnecessary sounds, and also has the occasional missed control inputs.

It's formatted in 32 FAT and I'm fairly sure that was the same format before. It also has about 29 megs left in free storage on the card.

I don't understand at all what suddenly went wrong with this.

Did I somehow miss transferring back a hidden file or something?

Any ideas would be very welcomed since I tend to use GameYob ever single day and I absolutely love this emulator. ♥

This is an older thread use a custom built CIA or use Retroarch https://gbatemp.net/threads/retroarch-emulation-thread-nightly-builds-included.400913/

Yeah.

This is for the first gen Nintendo DS.

I tried playing a .nds rom file, and that worked just fine, and at full speed.

GameYob still runs at about 50% though.

I've played this emulator every day for the past couple of years and I don't know what happened to it when I loaded all those files back on my SDHC card.

Oh dear Lord.

I'm very sorry.

I had the setting Autosave turned on.

I've never messed with the settings in two years but I must have somehow suddenly changed it by accident.

All is good now.

what i want to know about gameyob, is that I notice on the nds flashcart version, there is a button you can press to expand the screen, but on the 3ds version there is not,, also, I had put the border bmp (supergameboy) one in the correct folder on the 3ds one, and it does not come up
