Hi

I wish to sell on a Premium Wiiu that I purchased secondhand refurbished from a high st gaming store. It came with Mario Kart 8 and some other game preinstalled, so I guess it was a Premium console.

I've seen several threads about this topic (but not on this site) and everything I read says that the games are tied to the NNID and inferring that it is not possible to transfer games on, unless you give your NNID to the purchaser.
But if that is the case, how did I get the preinstalled games as it was secondhand when I bought it? I presumed it had been reset when I purchased it but don't know for sure (it came with a test checklist which said "clear internal memory"). Also I see lots of used Premium consoles with preinstalled games for sale on various sites.
Confused ...

Those preinstalled games, the ones you find with a ton installed are all pirated. Once content is installed like that it isn't tied to any user account. I'm not sure how it works for factory installed games.

It's on 5.5.2 now, hence the sale. But I dont see how they could be pirated as it all looks stock. Also lots of other consoles have a couple of preinstalled games (with no media), it seems a common package.

no preinstalled on wii u.

all those bundles consoles you see in stores (mario kart, wind waker, etc) came with download codes, not pre-installed games. at least, as far as I'm aware.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
