Hacking PS3Xploit 3.0 “HAN” released, compatible with all PS3s on firmwares 4.81/4.82

Probably a dumb question, but can you install custom DLC or whatever with this?
Pretty much the only thing I use my PS3 for nowadays is Rock Band 3, and I wanted to play custom songs.

Also, while they recommend using an alternate PSN account, is it fine if I use one of the accounts on the PS3 for the hax but leave my other legit accounts in there? Or do I risk getting every single one of them banned when doing this?

i'm having some trouble trying to install official ps1/ps2 classics games, I install the pkg and inject the rif file, but when i boot the game i get kicked out to the xmb with an error 80028f17 message, has anyone encountered this problem?

After fucking around with this for 2 whole days and gotten little to no results out of this....I have to ask...is this really worth using guys? At least at its current stage?
We have VERY limited access to what PKGs we can even install,ps1, ps2, psp, and ps3, which two of those(psp and ps3) we can only install CERTAIN ones apparently because of how complicated the process of trying to convert a ps3 game into a .pkg
They make it sound simple but its the equivalent of performing brain surgery...
PSP is SIMPLE to do BUT only 40% of the psp library is even compatible with the ps3, and even less run without any issues ingame.
PS1 and PS2 work fine but creating a .pkg of a ps2 file I swear is im-fucking-possible now. Most of the old PS2 tools are gone, and the few that are still up don't even work right.
Theres a more reliable method involving Multiman, but guess what, MULTIMAN ISN'T EVEN ABLE TO BE INSTALLED ON HAN RIGHT NOW. Sure you can probably get everything working right after you've dissected every single little step that took you a whole day to do.....or you could literally accomplish the exact same thing in less than 5 minutes on a pc with PCSX2/PPSSPP with probably even better results.

After messing with this, I really don't feel this was worth the time I put in. Cool that we actually fucking have SOMETHING that hopefully can be developed into something greater, but right now, I don't feel HAN is worth the pain in the ass setup right now.

Two questions:

1- Is not to log in to psn or play with the unlock account, correct?
2- The procedure would be: enter the unlock account> activate the han> switch to another account. Does it?

the link you posted is for psxploit 2.0 which only supports cfw capable systems (fat, some slim systems), psxploit 3.0 supports all ps3 systems but only allows you to install ps2/ps1 classics and ps3 backups with some requirements (it must have a digital psn version or at least have an update available), you can't install ps3 homebrew or cfw.
you need to make a disposable psn account, log-in and remember to activate your ps3 system otherwise it won't work cause the act.dat gets created the moment you activate your ps3 system.

i think you can sign up and activate the system with 4.81, i just don't remember exactly how, but you don't lose anything updating to 4.82 as the psxploit works exactly the same, so i would recommend you to update.

didn't work... the reason people are agitated when it comes to ps3 homebrew is because of all the trolls and asshats who lie about exploits and when something comes around that is stated to work 100%, people will try it and fail... people including myself are sick of this bull shit...

Having full CFW access is problably why the obsolete tools were left to rot. This only broke out a couple days ago, so in time I can expect new and updated tools to be made available - or we get CFW access.
