This week's hardware sales
MediaCreatePieChart.php

Week 10 2018 sees the mighty Kenshiro come to finally take the #1 spot from Monster Hunter World (as predicted last week). Hokuto Ga Gotoku (Fist of the North Star x Yakuza) has impressive first week sales, moving 125k units. Hopefully it stays at the top for a few more weeks and we get confirmation of a western release (unlikely)!

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I Kai charts at #7, but numbers are low, barely breaking 10k, and nearly all other software is down from last week.
Nintendo software continues to sell, with Switch titles owning 4 of the top 6 places in the chart. Splatoon 2 also breaks 2 million units sold, an amazing achievement!
Hardware is almost identical across the board, apart from the poor old Xbox, which sees a 37% drop in sales.

I feel sorry for the Xbox. Here's a question: why are so many games on Xbox One being ignored for the Switch? Warframe, MH:World, RB6:Siege, Call of Duty, Star Wars Battlefront, Battlefield, Darksiders, Biomutant, etc.
It doesn't really make sense, when making those specific games for the Switch would get a lot more sales on the Switch than the Xbox One. Panic Button, Iron Galaxy etc can port it to the Switch if the companies aren't able to. I'm just not understanding it.

I actually just realized, the hardware sales figures positions, are kinda like which console hacking scene is most active. Or I could be overthinking it lol

Because most of the games you named are western games and devs here mostly develops for the "more porwerful" hardware. Not all of them wants to downgrade the fuck out of their games even if the switch is selling, but i know there have been a few exceptions, which is good for the switch. Japanese developers are more likely to drop more games for the switch than the western ones.

I'd think they'd be nuts not to release Hokuto Ga Gotoku in the west. What with the prevalence of the "omae wa mou shindeiru" meme, I think more people here, now than ever, would embrace a game with Kenshiro in it.

Switch sales have been pretty stable though, it was just PS4 that sold like gold due to Monster Hunter for a few weeks. And now that it died off, it looks like the Switch started selling well... But it has been selling well all the time ^_^
