Not much to go on this week with the inevitable slump in sales after the Xmas holiday season. However, we do see Dissida: Final Fantasy NT launch straight in at number 1 on the software chart and Nintendo still holding onto to 15 of the top 20 places.

Erm...is xbone really selling that amount right now? Okay, so it's Japan, but at this rate people buy more toasters than xbox ones (xboxes one?).

The Xbox brand has never been popular in JP for whatever reason, it just doesn't appeal to the JP market at all. No idea why personally, but I imagine it's because more JP publishers and devs release games exclusively on Nintendo/Sony platforms more than they do Xbox.

In Japan they advertise Xbox Ones as cheap 4KUHD players foremost, the gaming aspect of it is ignored now.
And in some places, they don't advertise it at all. I remember watching a YT video about a guy looking for a XONE, he went to some well known store in Akiabara, the vendor didn't even know what was this Xbox thing

Nintendo switch this week is struggling with supplies, that’s why its numbers are down. Reports from RestEra, Nintendo Japan sold all its stock during the festive season and have limited stock available.
