Wrong. If your gpu is a bottleneck for emulator - cpu overclock really wont show any improvements. BUT if it is not - cpu will have major speed profit if single-core was improved in some way (660ti for example is more that enough for mhxx on x8 internal res and it isn't loaded more that at 60% in quests)
From the other hand - nvidia settings do "magic" not only for emulation. And performance mode + tripple buffering helps even in usual games in many cases.
Also for another example - i7
[email protected] runs mhxx well and ofc not loaded full cause no real multicore support for emulator yet - but i3 2100 at stock already can do like only 20fps in same sick/mingw 18-01 build.
