I mean try any game. If it works then the problem is the cia not your console.

hi, i am a total newbie in hacking 3ds.what i have before ix rxtools and emunand? and ive been trying to upgrade it lumA3DS. ive tried doing the 3ds.guide for installing it then suddenly it branched out t a lot of sites. im really confused right now. ive followed all the things that the guide tells then after updating my system. I cant open the "rosalina menu" when i press L + Down+ Select it doesnt do anything.

Sounds like you didn't manage to install CFW I'm afraid! What firmware did you start on? If ntrboot and you have a compatible DS flashcart then just start again. If not, look here https://3ds.guide/ntrboot and buy a compatible DS flashcart to follow this method.

havent made many threads but have mad much progress, even have the bluetooth module hardmod but my question lies in the flashcard...
I purchased the r4 3ds+ used the NTR mode to achieve CFW - switched back to DS mode to load my old homebrew files from my ds (running new woods 3ds firmware on card) and all works
I've seen many posts that say "when you are done getting CFW just switch the card back to DS mode because you wont use NTR mode again" --- is this true? is there anything I am missing from just using the r4 as a DS flashcart?
Is there a way to play ds roms right from the 3ds without having to play them from the flashcard?
In other words... is there a way to migrate my DS homebrew to the 3ds internal flash and run them though the CFW or will I always need to launch a DS title from the flashcart?
Would like to migrate flashcart to the SD card inside the 3ds so that file browsers see all files and im not stuck with either browsing the flashcart OR browsing 3ds sd card.
Ive replaced some of the homebrew from the flashcard with their new 3ds homebrew counterparts, but others are still seemingly exclusive to the flashcard.

You need a DS flashcart to play DS games. There's a DS emulator but it is only compatible with a small handful of games.ok n00b question for the n00b thread
