Does Genesis Plus GX work, or is broken?, it seems it doesnt load on Elf
I tried, i used to when i was in 5.5.1 using Homebrew Launcher 1.4 trough Web exploit, but idk why i cant manage to load RPX using stUpiidhax, it just feeze when loading RPX apps, it does launch Elf perfectly thoughWhy are you loading ELF? RPX is the new and supported format.
The 5.5.2 browserhax uses an older version of the HBL installer without support for RPXes. Use Haxchi or something.I tried, i used to when i was in 5.5.1 using Homebrew Launcher 1.4 trough Web exploit, but idk why i cant manage to load RPX using stUpiidhax, it just feeze when loading RPX apps, it does launch Elf perfectly though
Mmm right now i dont have access to an original DS game, at least probably till later this week, is there another option? The 5.5.2 browserhax uses an older version of the HBL installer without support for RPXes. Use Haxchi or something.
Not really. Haxchi is basically required for 5.5.2 homebrew at this point. As a fellow EUR region-er, you should double check to see if Brain Age is free for you. It seems hit and miss; some people have it and some don't. If you're lucky, you can save yourself $7 or whatever it is.Mmm right now i dont have access to an original DS game, at least probably till later this week, is there another option?

Yeah WHDLoad is faster, but not worth IMHO it's pretty complex process, though @rioray is the expert in P-UAE he can give a better insightHey cucholix -
With regards to P-UAE
Do you know if it is better to load the games via WHDLoad, rather than straight floppydisks? I See the WHDLoad is quite a complicated procedure...
Your advice will be most appreciated! Thanks in advance.
It takes two clicks to run a game in SSF. 3 in uoYabause. Configuration in both is a breeze, since the selections are dumbed down and simple. I don't think you have used any of those emulators at all (not that there are many options). In the PSX scene, there's currently no 'plugin hell' of any sort, and the plugins that are being developed today are already included into the emulator, so no user needs to search for anything else, unless he/she wants to go beyond basic configurations. Case in point: ePSXe.Nevertheless, very few emulators exist that do the Saturn justice, and the ones that do, are hell to configure properly, akin to the plugin hell of PSX emulation.
You really don't need Haxchi unless you'd like it to be permanent. Try using your payload to run Mocha right from the start, if you can. After that, load Homebrew Launcher (i use the forwarder channel i already installed before, pretty useful), and then play with any RPX you want.I tried, i used to when i was in 5.5.1 using Homebrew Launcher 1.4 trough Web exploit, but idk why i cant manage to load RPX using stUpiidhax, it just feeze when loading RPX apps, it does launch Elf perfectly though
did you deleted the config files all of them?Since last week I cannot run any NES game anymore with either of the three emulators without immediately running into a Wii U memory crash. Is this a known issue? It worked before, until two weeks ago. I did a complete reinstall of retroarch. I did not change anything about my NES rom folder.

Plugin hell in PSX emulation? Back in the day you had to choose between Software or Hardware rendering and choose the SPU plugin. Setting it up didn't cost more than 10 minutes. Like Niuus said there is not such a thing as 'plugin hell', especially now. Most things you are saying show that you really don't know what you are talking about.
So? I honestly don't care what another user says about this or that. The point still stands on Saturn emulation being a real nightmare on setting up and getting to run. Same goes with Dreamcast emulation. Saturn emulation isn't happening on the Wii U side of things for some time, if ever, Saturn emulation is still a problem.
ePSXe still uses plugins, Beetle PSX doesn't however, so yes, in that regard, PSX emulators don't all use plugins anymore. N64 emulation is slowly getting to that too.
It's really easy to set up DC, N64, PSX and Saturn emulation in 2017. They've made it really easy. There is no such thing as 'plugin hell' atm.
The update is. There is no shaders. Want em? Code it up.Any word on filters / shaders?
