I don't think it was as horrible as those god damn load times on a ps2. I literally waited 2 minute's for a stage to load smh. Probably cause It was a used disc though.........

That bridge level though....

No, the loading times were amazing on Gamecube, but the framerate drops/issues were insulting as the Gamecube was more powerful than the PS2. It was a rushed port, and it was badly optimized. The first level is a good example of the fps drops.

interesting I played wrath of cortex on the og xbox when I was a kid. Was that considered to be the best port then since the gamecube and ps2 versions had problems?

You seem to have a habit of ignoring anything that contradicts your ideas.

that rep is already wrong. "60 fps across all platforms". I wish but nah it's running at 30 fps on the ps4 and pro which is a big let down >.< what's with consoles and 30 fps give me frames so I don't have to result on playing on my pc..

that is just a special thanks, they dont have any credit for doing any of the actual work, activision did it all by themselves.
They listed some Sony dev's somewhere under where they had sony computer entertainment who also helped. You are misinformed since all activision did was publish/advertise the game, even though vicarious visions did most of the developing,Sony and naughty dog where also needed to develop the game.Face the facts.

I like how you jump to conclusions lmao.I never sead it might not come to other platforms, there is still a slight chance.I only proved that Sony and naughty dog where needed to make this game and they still own the rights to the first 3 games.

Like how Nioh also doesn't have it on the case either despite being a ps4 exclusive, or Atelier Sophie does have it on the case despite being on PC?
tbf they said they would port nioh if it sold well on ps4 the devs said that just google it.

Also having only on ps4/xbox and then being released on another platform is comon but they werent planning on releasing another port of it, like it was shown at PAX the activision reps were saying the game will come ou on pc with 4k and 60 fps too.

thats not how it works a company cant have rights for games they dont have rights of the character lol look at rare they did all the DK games and didint keep any dk game rights when microsoft bought them even if they did 100% of the work and slapped nintendo characters in there only, heck even diddy kong racing which they did everything basicaly kept being owned by nintendont and to re release the game, nintendo just removed banjo and conker from it lol.

you cant own a game when you dont have the rights to the ip itself, who owns the ip license own all games it stars in and they can remake any game staring that character they wish too.

Several news outlets reported recently that a Hungarian Retailer leaked that the game would be coming to XBox One in December:

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2...g-to-xbox-one-according-to-hungarian-retailer

If this is true, there's a chance it could come to the Switch too. This rumour has even put me off buying it for the PS4 (for now) as I'd much rather have it on the Switch and I'm not in any desperate hurry to buy it.

It would explain why the description on psn store dropped the exclusive part. FYI, most exclusive titles say they are with it the first 2 lines of text on psn store.

That's because Microsoft owns rare who not only developed those games but "created" them also and still had rights to there mascots.Vicarious visions didnt create the first 3 crash games so they needed naughty dog because they where the original creators of the first 3 games and guess who owns naughty dog? Gasp Sony does.

its not up to activision lol it depens on what the contrat they made with sony, if sony funed the entire game an made it exclusive for ever.

Not 100% true. 90% of LA Noir was funded by Sony. In it's case the ps3 was suppose to get about a 100 hours of permanent exclusive dlc for season pass holders. But because the apparent company went bankrupt, zero post launch dlc was produced.

what exactly does ng own? every character being main character, enemy, villain is owned by activision so they own what the level layout? lol you cant own a level layout, if activision wanted to make a exact replica of the original level layout with their owned characters they could and ng cant do a single thing about it same way nintendo released DK64 on VC and xbox and rare ccant do crap about it.

Who owns the character has the rights, doesnt matter who created it, they sold all rights of that IP.

Again, let me repeat myself since you dont seem to understand. They own the rights to the first 3 games that have Sony computer entertainment and naughty dog written on it.Naughty dog created them and can distribute them how they please, why else are you able to buy the original ps1 crash 1,2,and 3 on the ps3/psp in the psn store and no where else other then being able to play it on an emulator on pc illegally if you don't own the game?

becuase activision putted them in there lol ps3 had an emulator for ps1 and ps2 so they didint even needed to port the game seriously you think they would port ps1 emulator or ps2 to xbox? lol

both ps3 and psp had built in ps1 emulators and ps3 old and new had the ps2 classics emulator that is compatible with most ps2 games even on slims, activision just putted the iso there and made money lol same way manny 3rd party ps1 exclsuives are on psn only becuase of sony having the emulator and they only needed to provide the iso lol.

they cannot distribute the first 3 crash games at all without activision saying its ok since they own 100% rights to every crash appearence.

You missed the point.I listed a legal and illegal way of getting the game digitally and you took shots at it, but that's besides the point since we went from talking about Sony having the rights legally to pirating the game since you can only legally get it digital from psn.If it was truly decided to be multiplat, dont you think it would be multiplat already like crash of the titans? If not, then why wasnt crash 1,2 and 3 been on the Xbox 360 or the wii back in the 7th generation (on the eshop and xbl store, dont start the whole, because it can be emulated on the hacked consoles argument again since i only used the you can only play it on a rom on pc point to show it cant be bought anywhere else legally)Sony and naughty dog didn't own the rights to the first 3 games? All activision did was get vicarious visions to redevelop the game, but they needed permission from the original creators.Thats all. They can choose to make it multiplat if they want since vicarious visions isn't owned by Sony but naughty dog gets to choose  let that sync in for a sec.

i never once talked about ilegal stuff, just saying every company that had ps1 and ps2 games coud put them for sale on psn becuase of sony consoles having near perfect built in emulator, they didnt need to do any work at all so it was zero work to get money from just letting sony sell the game for them on psn.

Heck companys did this without even testing the games, there is a reason why some ps1 games dont even work and are on psn like start was dark forces is sold and you cant even get past the main menu lol, they just letted sony put them on psn and didnt even bothered to test them on sony ps1/ps2 emulator.

xbox360 and wii didnt have a built in emulator, well xbox360 had one but it was so shitty and needed per game patches and companys just didint want to waste time not to mention even compatibe games are full of crashes and slowdowns, its hands down the worst emulator ever found on a console made by their own company imo and wii had a gc mode(not emulator) but couldnt even download full games since no infrastucture for them besides wiiware and VC wich were tiny downloads due to the wii storage limitation becuase wii ddint support hdds and sd cards were only supported up to 2gb before hacks came along.

After some digging I can say with almost absolute certainty that Activision owns the first three games. The first three games were owned by Universal Interactive Studios who would become Vivendi Games after Vivendi bought out Universal. Vivendi Games then merged with Activision to become Activision Blizzard, then Activision Blizzard bought itself out of Vivendi to become an independent company.
