Since everything is now in .firm format, is there a .firm file for SaltySD???
I mean I used LayeredFS but in order to get it working it required the .bin file used in SaltySD
Now that .bin is dead what will become of my mods and such???

I have a question about donor roms. Could i set multiple DS roms to refer to the same donor rom (for example MKDS), or do i need to have a unique donor rom for each game? (MKDS1.nds, MKDS2.nds, etc)

you just set one rom as "the donor", and then all roms use that "donor".

it says online play works with mkds but once i get into a race it disconnects to both players needs to be using boot strap?

Welp, I guess life overwhelmed the guy and it completely forgot about this, too bad, I had high expectations for this.
Maybe this thread should be closed until further notice (if ever) to avoid unnecessary clutter.

I know, and he said this like a month ago (After asking him for an update because of the previous two/three months of inactivity) I'm starting to see a pattern here.
Either way, you two keep on hoping, maybe he gives us an update by the end of this year.

you do realize they have a life outside this? are you paying him a reasonable sum to devote every waking moment? enough to replace their Job? No? then sitback and wait.

Both players don't have to use bootstrap.

Yeah but I tested mkds online with it and when race starts we get disconnected
