Official hakchi2 - NES Mini very simple pimp tool

Does anyone know where the "use_SNES2005.hmod" or whatever it's called can be downloaded? I'm under the impression if I install both the snes2005 and snes2010 modules my system will launch SNES games with the snes2005 because I included the "use" hmod?

I ask because I have many games with save states on the 2005 and I only need 2010 for a few games. I figured I'd have my system automatically use 2005 and then I'd just put the snes10 command in the few that needed to launch with snes2010? Or am I totally wrong with that theory.

I have a question for anyone who can help with me this. I'm in the process of changing the NES mini's UI and would like my folder setup to match the new UI. I was wondering how would I go about changing the folder images for the "Back" buttons used to navigate back in the NES mini's menus? I see other people have warp pipes and other images, but can't seem to find how to customize myself. Those folders are the last piece to my final setup. (For now)

I have some questions about retroarch savestates, they seems to be erased when you close a game. Are they stored in ram? Is there a way to hard write them on internal memory?
I'ts frustrating to loose 2-3h of gameplay and being unable to reload a savestate.

The NES30 Pro has more inputs, so you can use the extra buttons to configure more options in retroarch (emulator speed, save/load savestate)

What do you mean "proper firmware". If I buy the 8bitdo retro receiver, can't I just use my ps4 controller with my modded NES Classic?

In the actual competition, it would have been considered cheating for the contestants to time the start of their own games. A moderator actually pushed start on the second controller so the start time was "official" and "fair".

I made a bios_images.hmod folder with neogeo.zip in it...it has the 1.454kb neogeo bios in it, and it works with all games mame2003 and fba..

I previously made a bios_neogeo.hmod ... ..I always found the neogeo zip had the wrong neogeo bios file for the games.and I had to zip the neogeo bios with the games to get the games to work...this one works flawlessly:

You can use ps4 controller,(or ps3), but i read that some have a tiny little lag.. that they not have with wii u procontroller.
In mine case i had to buy controller, i have Xbox 360 and Xbox one. So no compatibility here... Was not a big fan of ps2 / ps3 controller for long gaming sessions. (I must adit ps4 is better then ps2 / ps3.) But Wife had owned a wiiu pro, so i knew we would be fine with an wii u pro. and i am allergic to lagg.

For firmware, follow advice as above. I made the mistake of using beta3, cost some time, to understand why it was not working.

Hey, sorry if my question's already been answered but there's 450 pages and I can't read through them all. I'm trying to dump the kernel but it says it can't write to USB. I tried disabling driver verification but that didn't help. I'm trying to use Zadig but I'm unsure what exactly to do. Can anyone take me step-by-step through using Zadig, or show me an easier way?

Nah, just managed to find a NES Classic yesterday. It seems simple enough, I downloaded it, unzipped it, and added some games, but when I tried to sync it wouldn't work.

If your sure it installed then nvm. It should allow you to dump kernel then flash custom kernel. That doesn't work? I've got this error a couple times because of my own mistakes. Like forgetting and trying to flash mods on original kernel and install games lmao without flashing custom.

It sounds like you are using VMware or vbox? If so, hakchi2.15 does not seem to work with these. You need to download older version for the moment. 2.14b is faster but you get 50 megs less space. 2.13e is old reliable. You get to use all space, but will have to do the plug/unplug thing many times. That being said it's not like plug/unplug is hard. It walks you through the whole process. And for 2.14b you do need to make sure to add mini to vbox turned on normally, as well as the way you would have all ready in fel.
